Are you the clucky chicken guy or gal in the neighborhood? Here are a bunch of like-minded individuals and resources for those of us with poultry pursuits.
Many of the blogs out there are from small-farm urban homesteaders enjoying the slow-food movement. Others like to show or breed, or perhaps are in a more rural environment.
Connecting with others who have chickens is important for sharing tips and solutions, gathering wisdom from those more experienced than you, or perhaps learning from those who have experenced something in particular about which you have questions.
When researching genetics and looking at unique colors, I found the site of a fellow henthusiast in Holland who was willing to walk me through some complicated phenotypes and shared which traits are dominant characteristics- to me, this was priceless information!
