Unschooling: The Movie will be released soon, but interested people can gain access to unfinished footage before receiving the DVD by subscribing through the Unschooling: The Movie website.
Writer and filmmaker and unschooling father of five, Lee Stranahan, decided to create a film to show what unschooling is all about. He interviewed long-time unschooling advocate Sandra Dodd, as well as other unschoolers off all ages.
"If you are interested in homeschooling or unschooling — I think this project will answer a lot of your questions and give you a sense of how unschooling actually work for people. The film contains a number of interviews with teenagers who were unschooled, which I think gives an interesting sense of the type of people that unschoolers end up being."
The website contains free videos as well as a subscription service to raw footage and the finished DVD when it becomes available.

I highly recommend The Unschooling Unmanual, co-edited by Jan Hunt and her son. My favorite unschooling book!

Thanks Jennie for that recommendation. I enjoyed that book, too.
