There is a great deal of frustration at present, in the 99er community with Democrats and Republicans, but it is the Senate Republicans who fall way short on Unemployment Insurance extension votes. (see below)

Americans are angry and anger often goes against the party in power at the polls. It is easy to blame those in power for the problems in America, but the Democrats simply must educate the American voters about the truth of the matter of who is really to blame for the mess in America today. The four letter, one word answer: Bush. It is impossible to correct in less than 2 years, what took 8 years to break.

The Obama administration has had an unending stream of emergency situations to deal since January 2009. Most of these are a direct result of the failed Bush policies, deregulation and 2 unfunded wars raging overseas. Meanwhile, the country has been falling apart, anger is mounting and most states are in severe financial trouble.

The flow of tax revenue, what states rely on to do business, has been choked off due to the foreclosure situation. We cannot ever hope to resolve the deficit problem unless the unemployment crisis is resolved. People have no money to spend, so our consumer based economy is crumbling. Those with the money and thus the power to help stop this downward spiral are holding on to trillions, in an attempt to make it look like the Democrats and President Obama are to blame.

Hopefully American voters are smarter than the Republicans give credit for, in deciphering what is what, so those responsible for America’s economic woes don’t fool the voters into making an epic mistake this November. While Democrats cannot seem to cash in on Republican bumbling, perhaps the American voter will see through the GOP smoke screen and save our great country from disaster.

My biggest fear is that at the end of four years the Dems will be voted out of office just as all their work makes a positive impact and the GOP will step in and take credit. The same way they keep getting blamed for what the GOP left behind.

I will not vote for a Republican and have nothing good to say about Bush, but I refuse to blindly support Obama and the decisions that his administration has made.

I am SO sick of bipartisanship!!!! It has been a narciscistic Obama who has led us further down the road of destitution with his insistance that we allow the GOP a 'say' in issues that directly impact the survival of the American Citizen.

how can Obama release emergency money for section 8 and housing assitance recently take it from the bank bailout money, within days, BUT 99ers and UI extension have to go through the house and congress etc. running out of UI is just as important and a huge emergency as the housing assistance. THEY BOTH HELP PEOPLE NOT GO HOMELESS and you probably would have had less people filing for the housing assitance if you would have given them a Tier V benefits.

I say hold their elections hostage the way they have held the American people hostage

Why can't our government force the banks to give people who have no income to take 12 months of mortgage payments and put it on the back end of the mortgage loan that would help people who have run out as well. Right now as it sits, in order to qualify for loan modification you have to have income or no one can help you. The people who bought these high priced mortgages are being allowed to write off some of the mortgage ammount and here I am 15 years into mine and they cant do anything for me I have to show income and gaurentee them I will have a job at the end of a 3 month period. LOL through Obamas Hope Now gives you false hope
