LaDonna McCormick is a lifelong resident of the city of Chicago, Illinois. She has lived in many neighborhoods within the city from Lawndale, Lakeview, and Hyde Park, in the past, to her present location in the Bronzeville neighborhood, with her husband of 34 years. She is presently unemployed. Her past job was working as a temporary employee for Lakeshore Staffing, that assignment ended in July and she is currently still seeking full-time employment. LaDonna McCormick is a recent graduate of Keller Graduate School of Management, where she majored in Public Administration with a government emphasis. She currently is attending Concord School of Law of Kaplan University where she hopes to obtain a degree as a Juris Doctor in the legal field. LaDonna is well-qualified in her background to write about the experiences of people over 40 years of age, who have become unemployed in the current economic climate in the U.S.
