As a student, Russ Forster wrote record, movie and theatrical reviews for the University Of Chicago newspaper Grey City Journal. The '90s brought him to fanzine prominence as the editor of 8-Track Mind magazine, which was featured in articles by Time and Rolling Stone magazines among others. He currently writes music reviews for Roctober magazine and for a blog on the Pirate Cat Radio website (www.piratecatradio.com), and has a weekly radio show at the latter.
