Next Films, a newly formed production company, has inked a deal with Black Sabbath/Heaven & Hell boss Tony Iommi to produce a series of horror films under the Sabbath banner. The films are also set to be scored by Iommi. This deal comes in the wake of a lawsuit filed by Ozzy Osbourne, vocalist of the Black Sabbath line up of Iommi's band (the H&H lineup is fromted by Ronnie James Dio who replaced Ozzy during the recording of this incarnation's namesake album), seeking 50% ownership of the the name. Iommi himself recently sued promoter Live Nation when they continued selling merch with the Sabbath logo after a deal worth a reported $80 million ended. Go here for more info.
