How do we all feel about super groups? Part II

Is there room for another super group?

As we all know, supergroups are no new thing in the music industry.  The worlds latest and probably most promising supergroup, Them Crooked Vultures have seen success - but can another?

The sounds of Foo Fighters, Led Zeppelin, and Queens of the Stone Age are all evident on the bands self titled November release.

Is there such a thing as too many supergroups?  Can the world handle ANOTHER band made up of rock legends?  Well we're going to find out.  Ultimate-guitar.com reports there are web rumors of Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, and Joe Perry & Brad Whitford of Aerosmoth spending time in the studio together and making some recordings.

The rumors come via Kevin Shirly, who engineered Led Zeppelin's "How The West Was Won".  Although he confirms that the musicians have been playing together, he knows full well (and you and I should too) that the songs will make the real difference.

So, don't get your hopes up world.  Anything could happen at this point.  Personally, I think that one supergroup made up of legendary rock stars is enough for right now.  That is not to say that I won't listen to the currently unnamed Page, Clapton, Perry, and Whitford project - but I think the universe might end.

Just sayin'.  What do you think?
