Emma Watson has been spotted on a "date" with Rafael Cebrion.
Emma Watson, the British actress who plays Hermione in the Harry Potter films, has said that she preferred to study in the US rather than at Cambridge or Oxford in England as it would be "less high profile". This doesn't appear to be working out all that well as her appearance at an ice hockey match with someone who is not her current boyfriend seems to have got the paparazzi in a tizzy,
She was spotted at Madison Square Gardens with Rafael Cebrion: a fellow Ivy League student, yes, but also the drummer with the band The Monomes.
It will also dismay Watson, who plays Hermione in the Harry Potter films, who has said she had shunned a place at Cambrige because it was too "high profile" and she preferred to study out of the media spotlight.
A spokesman for the star refused to comment on her friendship with Cebrián, who plays the drums for the band The Monomes and also studies at the prestigious Ivy League Brown University in Rhode Island.
That "less high profile" thing doesn't seem to be working out so well now, does it?

Well it would have been low profile if the slug photographers were concentrating on the Rangers and Panthers instead of taking pictures of Watson and her friend. What is supposed to do be a prisoner, and never go out and enjoy herself?
I'm also pretty sure that Watson wanted to study in the U.S. because the universities here allow students to focus on more than one area of study, whereas apparently places like Oxford, although great institutions of learning, are more narrow in terms of what you choose to study. Watson isn't quite sure where her interests lie, so a place like Brown allows her to "experiment" a little. So it isn't just about keeping a low profile...I'm sure she knew going into it that America probably wouldn't be much better with their paparazzi than the U.K. or really anywhere else in the world.
