A Wadesboro, North Carolina witness reports multiple unidentified objects in the sky over a 30-minute period on January 2, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.
The witness was driving at the time and managed to take several images with her cell phone camera. A nephew of the witness, riding in the vehicle, was able to take additional photos, although those shots are not included with the report.
The father of the witness, a retired cargo plane and helicopter pilot could not identify the objects.
Wadesboro is in Anson County, south central North Carolina, population 3,552.
The following is the unedited and as yet uninvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If North Carolina MUFON investigates and reports back on this case, I will release an update.

I witnessed something I can’t explain in the skies over Wadesboro, North Carolina, USA 01.02.2010.
I managed to take a few pictures on my 5 megapixel cell phone and I can not explain what these objects were. My father (retired cargo plane & helicopter pilot with 10.000 hours experience) can not identify the objects as airplanes, helicopters or blimps.

I am not one of those people who obsess with UFOs, but I really have no idea what these objects were.
When I took the pictures there was only one object, but every few minutes 2 other identical objects would come into frame.
Since I was driving I didn’t manage to get any pictures with more than one object in frame. The sighting lasted for about 30 minutes and the one object didn’t seem to move.
It was at sunset and I could not stay to observe any longer as I was getting my nephew home. My Nephew has pictures on his 8 Megapixel digital camera (3 pictures) one of them showing the object change to a black color.

Impressive detail, in that picture! Makes you feel like you could just reach out and touch it, don't it!
I say it's great they managed to get a photo. It's better than no photo! Some people!... You couldn't please them if you hung them with a new rope!
