A Pennsylvania witness westbound along Route 30 in Greensburg pulled his car to the side of the road to videotape two "spinning and rotating" star-shaped UFOs on November 12, 2009, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.
The witness says the 1 minute and 30 seconds of video shot yielded only about 15 seconds of the crafts as a nearby treeline was shielding his view.
The objects were spotted near the popular Mt. View Inn intersection about five miles east of Greensburg in a fairly rural area populated with homes among the rolling hills.
With cars traveling along both sides of this four-lane highway, the witness says red lights "drew my attention upwards" to what he first thought was a flock of birds. The two objects "were spinning, rotating, and circling each other."
As the objects passed directly overhead, the witness said "I clearly made out a five-pointed star-shape from viewing underneath.Circular-ringed ridges were on the body, emanating from the center point of the craft outward. My very first reaction at this was that it was some sort of R.C. airplane, but then it dawned on me, these were extremely low in comparison with the tops of nearby trees."
The driver finally pulled over and began shooting video,noticing that "the 'backs' of these crafts had a giant red light, approx. 3 ft in heighth and 6 ft in length, with vertical rows of lights that would flash from side-to-side."
The site location is about halfway between the towns of Greensburg and Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Greensburg is in Westmoreland County and has an area population of more than 57,000. This is the same region that was the epicenter of a UFO "outbreak" in 1973 and 1974 when hundreds of UFO and Bigfoot reports were made and the subject of an upcoming book by Stan Gordon; and is in close proximity to the 1965 UFO crash at Kecksburg. Another Greensburg site about three miles from this location was the subject of a February 3, 2009, report, Cylinder-shaped UFO hovers 250 feet over PA town. Just a few miles south of this area, along Route 982 in Mt. Pleasant, a UFO was spotted at ground level in this October 31, 2008, report, Sphere Of Light Approaches Pennsylvania Motorists. Popular Mechanics rated Pennsylvania one of the top five UFO hot spots in a March 2009 story, reported here as Do UFOs favor PA? Statistics say 'yes'. PA, November 12, 2009 - Two seperate, Five-pointed star-shaped crafts cross Rt. 30 in broad daylight. MUFON Case # 20533.
I was on Rt. 30 WEST going into Greensburg, and around the intersection of Mountain View Inn, I noticed what appeared to be two birds seemingly "fighting" each other over the highway.

As I drove closer, with traffic full on both sides of the highway, red lights drew my attention upwards to these "birds", which were spinning, rotating, and circling each other.
As I passed directly under of the objects, I clearly made out a five-pointed star-shape from viewing underneath.
Circular-ringed ridges were on the body, emanating from the center point of the craft outward. My very first reaction at this was that it was some sort of R.C. airplane, but then it dawned on me, these were extremely low in comparison with the tops of nearby trees.
I pulled over in the middle of the road, next to the dividing barrier, and tried to film what I could. Trees are somewhat in the way in the film. 1 minute and 30 seconds of film shot, with only about 15 seconds of "good" footage of the crafts.
The "backs" of these crafts had a giant red light, approx. 3 ft in heighth and 6 ft in length, with vertical rows of lights that would flash from side-to-side.
As it flew away, the two crafts appeared to fly unsteady or unstable, wobbling and tilting from side-to-side as it flew off.
It headed off first South, but then veered in a south-westernly direction, and I attempted to chase it by following road in that general direction, but I never caught another glimpse of them.

So Leslie yo cant tell the difference between a 900mph jet and a bird but yet you can say this guy is using narcotics. I find that pretty interesting. By the way last time I checked crows dont have flashing red lights on them.
Just from the video I would say part balloons could even be start shaped. The "red" portion is most likely a reflection from the setting sun.
Hi guys. Changing the subject just a tad. Does anyone have a theory as to why most space agencies have a chevron or vector symbol in their logo?

The chevron, as the V symbol is called, is an architectural term denoting the rafters of a roof meeting an angle at the upper apex. The chevron in heraldry was employed as a badge of honor to mark the main supporters of the head of the clan or "top of the house" and it came to be used in various forms as an emblem of rank for knights and men-at-arms in feudal days. One legend is that the chevron was awarded to a knight to show he had taken part in capturing a castle, town, or other building, of which the chevron resembled the roofs. It is believed from this resulted its use as an insignia of grade by the military.
In British Military usage, the idea of using chevrons to denote rank came from whereabouts NCOs were placed in the line in infantry units. In Napoleonic times, units would form up in large, uniform blocks. Lance Corporals (and equivalents) would have marked the corner of a fire team, Corporals the corner of a squad, and Sergeants the corner of a Platoon.....

Chevron continued......
This led to the stylized drawing of different numbers of right angles on the sleeves, to denote corners. Over time these turned into the stylized chevrons worn today.
Chevrons are used as an insignia of enlisted or NCO rank by land military forces and by police. In American usage, chevrons typically point up; in Commonwealth usage (and in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force), they usually point down.

Neila I also understand what you also are wondering about the Chevron crafts seen. They are new to the UFO equation, compared to the commonly seen UFOs through out all of history. UFOs have been seen even before the Bible was written. "Black triangles" are a class of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) with certain common features which have reportedly been observed from the 1940s (and possibly earlier) to the present.

Unfortunately people primarily and truly believe in the existence of UFOs after seeing one up close.

Yes UFO does mean unidentified flying object, but people give this term close association with other worldly beings and crafts. Which in essence we all all do. Military reports will also list a UFO as an UAO. SO if it is in the air it is an "areal" object, unidentified areal object. USO = unidentified submerged object for under water objects.
Neila have you personally witnessed a UFO? I have and close enough to see the surface of the craft. If you have never seen a UFO and wish too, then please try this:
1. Get 10x50 binoculars.
2. Get out side just before dark and watch the skies as long as you can. Watch for stars to move and stop and learn aircraft lighting patterns.
3. If this fails find someone near you that is seeing UFO very often. There is a reason why they are seeing them and others are not(long story). * Try to get with them and the odds are you will see your first UFO with them. These people are the ones with hot leads, random sighting are just dead sto
Grim Reaper : I have seen a couple of odd things that has made me wonder, but nothing close up enough as of yet. There is definitely something going on up there. As to what, hopefully time will tell.

They look a lot like a couple of helicopters from the video, but hard to tell exactly.
The video of the two ufo's in Greensburg on Nov 22nd look like two helium balloons tied together reflecting light form the sun.

star-shaped party balloons....really? the wind is barely blowing as evidenced by the leaves barely moving and tree limbs not moving at all. those 2 objects seem to be self propelled and moving VERY fast.
i could agree they are some unknown military, but certainly not helis. the body shape is nothing like that. in fact, i see no fixed wings anywhere, let alone props.
this video is VERY anomalous and deserves professional review!!! especially the history of the area and the numerous other odd sightings in the Murrysville area this year!

It looks like two helicopters if we were able to see below them we might see that they were hauling something attached to wire roping or whatever. It is done using two helicopters when it's a large object and dangerous as the tipping back and forth of the helicopters would not be unusual
