A Michigan photographer taking images of a downtown Christmas display later noticed unusual objects in the sky overhead, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) databse.
The city in Michigan was not listed in the public report for this November 27 case.
The following is the unedited and as yet unvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If Michigan MUFON investigates and reports back on this case, I will release an update.
MI, November 27, 2009 - Noticed Lights and shape in 3 of my photos when uploading them the next day. MUFON Case # 21091.
I went to town to see the lighting of the Christmas tree on November 27th, 2009. I got a new 2.8 lens and wanted to take some photos in a low light setting.
I shot about 100 photos that evening from about 5:00 p.m. to around 8:00 p.m. The next day when I was uploading them to my computer I noticed some lights in the sky of one of them.
When I zoomed in I saw a shape with the lights that intrested me, and that I didn't know what it was. I begain to look through my other photos and I found simular lights and shapes in 2 other photos.
All 3 photos with the lights and shapes in question in the sky were while I was standing on front street facing west. I had taken 4 photos that evening from that same area, facing west, and those same lights are in 3 of them. (I did not find these lights, or anything like them in any of my other photos I took any place else that night.)

Of the 4 I took facing west, the photo they were not in was the first one I took, about 5:00 p.m. The first two where they were was taken about 5:40 p.m. by the clock in one of the photos. The third one that the lights were in was taken about 6:00- 6:15 p.m. I really know nothing more about these.
I took them to tv 7/4 to see if anyone there was intrested and Mark Shelette contacted me a few days later and told me to file a report with you.

Lens reflections from the lights on the street. Look at how the lights on the street are mirrored in the "sky" or i should say on the lens of the camera. Most common IFO specially if the sighting was not seen with the naked eye rather just with the camera.
Not to convincing at all...Please write about real, extremely verifiable accounts only, with real UFO's, proven with undoctored images, taped, verified with reliable evidence, scientificly substaniated, all this tabloid stuff is a waste of time to read
Lense glass made for digital cameras are different than film because they recieve more light at angles rather than stright on as it is in film cameras. Due to this there can be more reflection picked up by the lenses and recieved by the CCD's. resulting in more ghost lights. It is always a good idea even at night to make sure you use your lense shade.
All reports are welcome...who's to know before hand whether or not a particular sighting is valid or not??
If it's a waste of your time maybe you'd be better off with football??

How can you substantiate that claim. You being in MUFON should know that MUFON in it's official capacity only deals with the facts when making claims. Are you a Field investigator or just a member/subscriber to the journal. Not that I have a problem with your theory but I would have to completely disagree with it unless you have evidence to prove otherwise.
I think this is from Traverse City. There is a front street there and it looks quite familiar.

You deal with facts? How do you get these facts? You use senses to study facts you call facts, yet you wish to discount someone's senses of what can be going on with UFOs/ETs. How can you discount our senses? Is it because you can't see or touch them? Does that make them unreal to you? Can you prove senses exist or not? If so, spread them out on a table, show & prove what does what. Facts can not be gathered without our senses. Without our senses we would be totally devoid of perceiving. We are humans, it's how we perceive & gather knowledge. Whatever you see, read & whoever you talk with, you use all your senses to perceive, is it a lie, truthful, funny, scary etc. We are not always right, so neither are our facts. Senses, it is how we evaluate our supposed facts we gather. Some people are able to use their senses better than others. If you can't fathom other people's senses & abilities, ask yourself how is it I can't.

*Perhaps this is the problem, because we have not solved anything using scientific methods yet. We have to stop trying to rule out what our human sense's perceive.
I gather by your skepticism you have never sense a UFO, but you are in FL. Once you are around UFOs enough you start to realize just how correct our senses are. They do mess with your cameras & equipment. I've had them shut my camera off, once my camera would not work for 3 days! If you can afford the trip to Utah, I'd be glad to show you firsthand. Talk is cheap! Everyone that comes where I observe the skies & observes with me always see at least one UFO. Usually it's more than one. You can say & try to discount all you want, come to Utah & I'll prove you wrong! The Government boys have been pushing me around to be quiet. They came & took most all my pictures & video. You are absalutly right our sences deceive Us , our current belief system within our mind is being attacted and this has to be with the amount of time the viewer is watching the object . Make sure that once You see there is NO turning back either You move forward within Your conclusions or basically You have No choice but to move forward , no matter WHAT ANGLE reality might seem to You at any one time or moment

I don't think you are going to get anywhere with MUFON. I bet no MUFON person will take you up on your offer. It seems many of them want you to get all the proof, while they do nothing but read reports. You'd think they'd be trying to live at your place to see a UFO! I have seen several of your posts, interesting. I sense something about you, so I scanned back to most of your posts. I noticed Government has more than taken notice of you, that means one thing to me.....real UFOs. No I'm not a stalker, hehehe, but I looked All the way back to your February sighting! A lot of Triangle sighting etc, I believe you. You are what I call an experiencer etc. I'm not with MUFON, but I'd be happy to come to UT if you'd have me? In taking a closer look at one of the pictures, there appears to be a 4th blue light nestled near the corner of the clock tower.
If it were a light reflected in the camera would it not be similar in color and not a different color?

I noticed the differences too. MorganFloridaMUFON and Todd are just guessing and assuming. As most skeptics often do, first they try to shoot it down, if that doesn't work they try, try again.

It's been months and at best the MUFON State Director wanted me to write articles for "JAR" magazine dealing with abductions, contactees, etc. Her magazine, which is not apart of MUFON! Rick O: You're probably right, especially given the reference to TV 7/4 - that would be WPBN-TV in Traverse City (Channel 7) and their sister station, WTOM-TV (Channel 4) which is licensed to Cheboygan, but is actually just a repeater for Channel 7. The studios and transmitters are on a very tall hill just to the northwest of the downtown Traverse City area, and there are no other cities large enough to have a display of the type pictured within many miles, since Traverse City is kind of off the beaten track (or at least the Interstate highway system) in the northwest part of Michigan's lower peninsula. So my guess would also be that this is a Christmas lighting display on Front Street in downtown Traverse City.

3 years ago I discovered that "Aliens live in our Earth's atmosphere". Hundreds of people saw AFOs(Aliens Flying Object) in the night sky under my guidance in New York and New Jersey, including 5 PA MUFON UFO field investigators, chief investigator Butch Witkowski, John Ventre (director of PA MUFON), well-known Ufologists, etc - at UFO conference (Montgomery county community College on 10/09/2009). Even one of the investigators Michael A. Melton tried to make picture of AFOs right away by using infrared camera.
The point is that since then none of the MUFON's witnesses went public with what they saw. And they saw not one but may AFOs (Aliens Flying Object) in the nignt sky. Can you tell me why?

Ari, you are completly wrong. If Sally with his mother saw UFO 2-3 times, I see AFOs (Aliens Flying Object) 24/7 every day. What is more everybody can see them 24/7 everywhere. If you want you can be one of them. Just Follow my instructions in the article and use your power of observation. I can navigate you by phone to spot AFOs in the night sky if you have clear sky in your area. In NJ I can show you AFOs without any problems.

Don't expect Obama or any part of government to disclose any real truth about Aliens or UFOs. They have too much to hide, if the truth came out the American public might revolt! We the public have been sold out for Alien Technology? For what reason? What is coming?
