The following are the unedited and as yet uninvestigated reports filed with MUFON. All information is taken from the public portion of the MUFON witness reporting database, so city names are often not mentioned for privacy purposes. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or man made. If MUFON investigates and reports back on any of these cases, I will release an update.
A Washington witness relaxing at the family condo in Crescent Bar, WA, June 15, 2010, looked up in the sky after 20 family members in lawn chairs reacted to an unusual light in the sky in MUFON Case # 25267. The reporting witness guessed the altitude of the silent object at between 1,300 and 1,500 feet and moving 30 to 40 mph.
Three witnesses claim their piece of Southern Oregon gets little or no air traffic, and are wondering about spotting three planes moving south at the same time they watched two objects moving east. One of the eastbound lights was a plane, but the second light disappeared over a clear sky in MUFON Case # 25265.
A Bakersfield, CA, woman is curious about a light seen in the sky three days in a row, most recently on August 28, 2010, in MUFON Case # 25264. She describes the object as "brighter than any other stars." The light was also seen by one of her children who lives 40 miles away in Kernville.
An Appelton, WI, witness says the odd display in the sky at 10 p.m. on September 1, 2010, might not be a UFO as described in MUFON Case # 25263. The object looked like a "string of lights in the sky" moving like they were on a string, but independent of each other. The lights began to fade out, moving higher up in the atmosphere, and eventually moved out of sight.
No exact distance is mentioned, but a motorist driving north along Highway 99 near the Highway 5 intersection and just east of the Sacramento Municipal Airport on September 1, 2010, reports observing a "saucer shape with dome top" object that was "close enough or big enough to see full outline" in MUFON Case # 25262. The object was stationary for one minute before disappearing.
Two families camping west of Lake George, Colorado, (beautiful area), on August 21, 2010, watched a star-like object moving "back and forth, up and down, diagonally, slow and fast" and in a "well defined area" in MUFON Case # 25257. They describe the area of movement as within the size of a tennis ball held at arm's length. They are hoping for additional witnesses to this event.
Clovis, California, witnesses are wondering what the object was with two red lights at 11 p.m. on August 31, 2010, traveling quickly and silently in the western sky in MUFON Case # 25256. "The lights seemed to flutter back and forth in an almost strobe light effect," the reporting witness stated.
On the same night - August 31 - an orange light was reported over the western sky above San Diego in MUFON Case # 25255. The witness was driving along Harbor Drive toward downtown and watched the object in the same spot for about 30 minutes. While the center of the object was orange, while the outside was "constantly changing colors from blue to green to red," and it seemed to have an aura to it.
