The following are the unedited and as yet uninvestigated reports filed with MUFON. All information is taken from the public portion of the MUFON witness reporting database, so city names are often not mentioned for privacy purposes. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If MUFON investigates and reports back on any of these cases, I will release an update.
Two Washington witnesses are sorry no camera was around to record a June 16, 2010, event as described in MUFON Case # 24677. They first thought they were looking at a shooting star, until they made out the shape of a cigar. The slow moving object then "darted upward and disappeared."
A California witness first reports on June 20, 2010, hearing a "roaring sound" and then seeing an object not more than 500 feet away in MUFON Case # 24689. The object is described as looking like a "ball on the top and at the bottom like a metal shaped pyramid. The ball glowed and I saw smoke coming out at the bottom. At first it moved slow and then it picked up speed. It took off very very fast. And then it disappeared."
A Texas witness looking at the moon with a telescope, got another image that was unexpected and considers himself (or herself) to be one of the luckiest people alive in MUFON Case # 24686. The image was of a "space craft" and was described as "shaped like a boomerang and it was silverish titanium kind of color or material."
Two Californians driving along the 405 Freeway near Torrance as they passed Crenshaw Boulevard are confused by something they saw on July 19, 2010, and want an explanation in MUFON Case 24684. The object is first seen as a cloud-like object, then looks like a needle with an oval look. The object then took on a star-like shape and vanished. This is not the first time they have seen this same object.
Two Oregon witnesses were startled, but not scared, on July 17, 2010, while camping in the redwoods in MUFON Case # 24683. They describe an unusual beam of light and other anomalies.
