A woman camping in Unicoi State Park, Georgia, saw "three gray aliens standing in the woods" at about 4 a.m. on August 30, 2009, according to witness testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.
The woman and her husband were camping in the park. The woman got up at 4 a.m. to use the community bathroom
Unicoi State Park & Lodge is a 1,050-acre state park northeast of Helen, Georgia.
She described the beings as a couple of inches shorter than her 5' 3" height, with long arms, and pale, glossy skin.
Following is the unedited witness testimony from MUFON.
GA, August 30, 2009 - Alien sighting in Unicoi State Park, GA. MUFON Case # 19097.
My husband and I went camping this past Saturday. Sunday morning,(August 30th) around 4:00, I woke up to go the the restroom. (There was a building near the campsites that provided restroom and shower facilities.)
It was pitch black outside, except for the light from my lantern and the lights from the building. I went in, did my thing, and as I started to leave to walk back to my tent, I stopped because I felt there was someone behind me.
I turned around and I saw three gray aliens standing in the woods behind the building, near another campsite on the hill in the back.
They didn't seem to be doing anything but standing there. I thought it could have been the people from the campground on the hill, but why would they just be standing in the middle of the woods at 4am for no apparent reason?
When one of them turned and looked at me, I realized they weren't human.
For one thing, the arms were too long and the bodies were too thin. Their skin had a pale glossy look, and they had a very large cranium with lumps all over the top of the scalp. They had huge black eyes that seemed to pierce right through me.
I stand 5'3" tall, and they looked about one or two inches shorter than me. The one that saw me started to inch toward me, but I bolted back to my tent. When my husband asked me what was wrong, all I could say was "There's (expletive) aliens back there!"When he finally calmed me down enough, he had me stay in the tent while he went to go see what it was.
He found nothing.
I don't know if I had any missing time or not. It was around 5:00 when I was finally calm enough to leave the tent, with my husband, of course. We had a cigarette and talked about my sighting. Then around 6:00 we got a fire going and cooked breakfast. That's really all I remember from that morning.
Later that night, (I'm not sure what time it was. We kept waking up off and on.) he said he saw a shadowy figure move outside. He didn't hear any footsteps. He looked up and saw the top cover on the tent move, as if someone pulled it aside to look in at us from above. When we woke up again later that night, the blankets on his side of the tent were wet. (It started raining that night.) My side was dry for the most part.
I can't remember exactly which campsite we used, but I'm pretty sure it was lot #60. It was located directly across from the parking lot. I didn't see any signs of a craft nearby, but I did see the creatures. I know what I saw was real, as I was wide awake when I saw them.

I have a hard time believing anything posted on Examiner. No links, no references.....Come on guys!! Some real journalism, please!!
Quand est-ce-que le mufon nous enverrait des Hoax? un peu de serieux svp Cathy ,
Cathy, this MUFON Case #19097. You can actually go to the MUFON main website and log into the CMS and read the report yourself. The original report will have names, addresses and phone numbers. To protect the person's privacy, the reports released to the public have all identification removed. I am a MUFON Section Director and I assure you these cases presented on this website are presented here as they are reported to MUFON. One of the purposes of MUFON is to figure out what the witness saw. Most of the time it will not be a UFO. Mr. Marsh spends alot of time reviewing case files to find the most interesting ones. Is this a strange case? Yes. Did this lady really see grey aliens, I do not know, but lets just wait and see what the investigative team comes up with.
Gee whiz, Cathy. I have a hard time believing anything you write. You missed the clearly marked link to the MUFON case number #19097 (no links, right Cathy?), and then you pontificate about "some real journalism." Let's see, there's an image from Wiki of the park in Georgia to help place the terrain and site in the reader's minds, and there are also reference links to MUFON and CUFOS at the end of the article (missed those, did you?). I find it extremely hard to believe that your agenda is "real journalism." New to the Examiner newsletter?
Actually Cathy C, Roger Marsh does a really good job referencing cases. He does what reporters have forgotten to do and just report and not inject editorial opinions all the time.
Cathy, why automatically think someone is lying when they have had an experience you haven't had as yet?? I find that disturbing on many levels...as fellow human? beings we have lots of reasons to distrust. Our government lies constantly, our carsalesmen/managers are usually lying, lots of people lie, I understand, but don't we tend to give them the benefit of belief until proof that they're lying, is undeniable?...You don't need to jump to the conclusion that the person who submitted that report is 'lying'...to me she is 'telling the truth' as she saw it...watch out one day you may be the one writing and when it's you...that person calling you a liar will hurt your sense of self...peace
cool experience...too bad we tend to be scared and not try to communicate with them...just think...how wonderful to be able to find a way to listen to what they say and have real communication...I would love that...I also would probably be scared but hopefully not senseless...maybe one day I will be given the opportunity to...hope so....
The only thing that bothers me is the continued pattern of 'Grey' sightings in which the 'Greys' do not wear any type of clothing and they seem perfectly comfortable breathing our atmosphere and thriving in our temperatures and atmospheric pressures. They also do not seem to have our lung capacity and their nostrils are virtually non-existant - along with their ears. Their large eyes would seem to indicate that they come from a world with less sunlight (or live underground). In spite of all these things they bound around in daylight or night in a very illogical manner.
David Adams makes a chillingly cogent point: what if they really do live underground? What if they aren't aliens at all?
Anyone heard of the Dover Demon, or mannegishi as the Native Americans call it? Looks almost exactly like the greys. If there's anything on Earth related to the greys it's DDs, not us.
There could be all sorts of them hiding away. How about the 'littlefeet'? Google 'Pedro the Mountain Mummy' or Dr Karl Shuker's website for some revelatory accounts of all kinds of >3 feet humanoids, and the Dover Demon.
I believe this much-maligned lady, only her aliens weren't acting like aliens :- no telepathy,leery attitude,no ship.They hang around.Aliens don't.
How many aliens encountered exhibited this appearance and behaviour rather than 'classic'ET? Possibly quite a lot.
Tonight's homework folks :DD,Pedro,ShukerNature and the databases.Anybody up for a blog/mag/book synopsis?
While sitting outside at 6 am this morning in Houston watching a storm approaching from the east I had a very uneasy feeling. This is unusual for me as I somewhat enjoy thunderstorms. This was just an odd sensation and my eyes were glued to the clouds as I watched the lightening illuminate them as though I wasn't seeing something I should be... The feeling was (and still is) quite unexplainable. Couldn't shake the feeling that something was 'off kilter' then while listening to the radio on my drive to work I heard about the UFO sightings!!
Hmmmmm .... I wonder.
We have had several reports of UFO's being seen during thunderstorms in Houston over the last several months.
Sorry typed in wrong spot. CST - we at Houston MUFON have received several reports of UFO sighting in the Houston area during thunderstorms over the last several months. Apparently your not as alone as you thought you were.
Not to be a buzzkill by starting an interplanetary war or anything but if any aliens were to approach my wife while she was on her way to the campsite toliet at 4am they would soon their massive craniums ventilated with .380 holes.
omg alines are ugley thats scarey
