Another Oregon UFO sighting was reported from June 27, 2010, with two witnesses at Summer Lake Hot Springs who watched multiple lights in the sky and some that moved into the lake, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
They first noticed "a streak of light across a large part of the sky" as though something had moved overhead at high speed.
After the event occurred again, with the object brighter and moving slower, the reporting witness retreived a camera.
They then witnessed balls of light moving across the sky that changed shape and color - red, blue, green, and white - fading in and out, and sometimes appearing to be transparent.
Later that same evening, they report that "multiple balls of light appeared above the horizon."
These lights "were within a mile or less" and moved "extremely low to the ground."
At this point, they say they saw the lights move into the lake, and then they reappeared within 1,000 yards.

The following is the unedited and as yet uninvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If Oregon MUFON State Director Tom Bowden investigates and reports back on this case, I will release an update.

OR, June 27, 2010 - color and shape changing. moved extremely fast. remained semi-transparent for short periods of time. MUFON Case # 24022.
the sighting started right before the sun started to go down. I was at Summer Lake Hot Springs for a concert. This place provides a view of at least 15 miles of surrounding area for approx. 270 degrees.

these ufo's were spotted above Summer Lake.
At first: I noticed what looked like a streak of light across a large part of the sky. something had gone by at high speed at the edge of my vision. I kept my attention on that part of the sky. within a minute I saw it again, but this time it was more visible (brighter / slower movement).
I ran to the tent and grabbed my camera. I witnessed what looked like balls of light moving in groups. these lights were a golden color and could be seen changing at a high rate between red,green,blue,and white. they faded in and out, as if they were disappearing and reappearing. some of the time they would stay in a semi-transparent state.

I took pictures of the area whenever I saw them. much of the time they were moving so fast that I wasn't sure if I caught them.
*** Later in the evening multiple balls of light appeared above the horizon. They seemed to be a few miles away. after taking a few pictures, they disappeared. moments later they were spotted by my friend. they were within a mile or less and where moving extremely low to the ground.
My friend and I then witnessed the lights go into the lake and disappear. the lights then reappeared and were within what seemed to be about 1000 yards of us. the dark pictures are of these lights when they were what seemed to be a few miles away. the lights then disappeared back into the lake. they were seen moving at a high rate of speed and then disappeared. that was the last we witness of them. Why don't you let people believe what they want to believe without encouragement to one way or another. "Most UFO sightings can be explained as something natural" They key word here is most, so there is a certain percentage that us unexplainable, hence the proof of an E.T. presence. Wake up and smell the kleptocracy.
This was a powerful description and I think things may escalate. I am excited now....I am not afraid of the contact but know that it may be something we don't like as well as the possibility of it being positive.

Hello world... I am the person who posted this report. First off: thanks MUFON! I have the highest level of respect for all involved! I captured all pictures (and video) with my 12MP Kodak EasyShare 1233. I've recently been contacted by a MUFON field investigator. I have answered any questions, and provided more information on the case (including more pictures and the video). This is only the most recent encounter i've had with something unexplainable. I've had a long life of strange/unexplainable encounters and events, many of which were only met with ridicule when I explained them to others. This experience was by far the most mind-boggling / nerve-racking. When what I will refer to as the "light-ships" went into the lake, and then appeared extremely close within a short amount of time.. my heart was racing like I had just ran a marathon. This experience has still barely set-in. I'm very thankful for the existence of groups like MUFON, and open-minded people who help my understanding

Sweet. I'm packing now for my annual trip to Summer Lake hot springs. Hopefully we'll see more than the Orionids this year!
