A group of people in Ohio celebrating a birthday noticed odd lights in the sky - three lights that appeared to form a triangle, according to witness testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.
The lights also changed form, from a triangle to a straight line, and then back to a triangle. At one point, the lights were not moving and remained stationary in the sky.
They videotaped late into the sighting, and captured some of what they saw.
Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If Ohio MUFON investigates and reports back on this case, I will update this page.

OH, May 23, 2009 - UFO OVER MAINVILLE / MASON OHIO
My family and I were all celebrating my nephews 10th birthday, on May 23, 2009. At approx 9:55pm my partner noticed three (3) individual orange-ish/white-ish lights in the sky.
He yelled out, "Oh my GOD, look at that!" so we all turned to look. What we seen we weren't prepared for. It appeared to be a triangular "UFO". These three (3) lights looked as if to be fireballs, with tracing firey tails.
They were ALWAYS changing form, from a triangle, to a straight line, and back to a triangle formation. They flew acrossed the sky a bit, however toward the end of the event, they remained stationary.
I ran inside to find my camera, and shot some of the final moments on film. The last few seconds they appeared to be falling, as a leaf would. As the "crafts" descended toward the ground, below the tree line, we noticed a plane flying around the same site in which the lights (crafts) were. There were many witnesses (15+). I have had a "UFO" experience once before, however this event is totally unlike ANYTHING I have ever seen before.

It's hard to say; there is no definite frame of reference besides the lights on the ground and the camera is not steady. There's not enough of the original description on tape to make a good judgement.The details: height, distance, size are missing.
Funny how all UFO's seem to popup over the western world alone!!!!

Yeah either Bastich is kidding or he/she is just out of touch. It's happening everywhere, Bas. These nice folks 'SEEN' it to be sure. What they SAW may very well be our otherdimensional friends, or it might be something as mundane as multiple ET craft. Whatever, it's what keeps me checking these videos out. And they come from all over the globe. Bastich, check out the Kumburgaz Turkey series of videos. (Some say this was a hoax, I believe it's authentic)

I actually witnessed this myself, along with my cousin. I live above Maineville in Lebanon, OH. We were outside when we saw three lights appear over a building. The lights appeared to be rather large, but looked far off in location. They formed a perfect triangle, then rotated in unison out of site behind the bulding. We tried to find them again but they seem to have just disappeared after that. DEFINITELY REAL!
By the way, I didnt have enough room to add this in the last comment, but this was also on the same date and time as the story and video here. The lights/triangle also appeared from the direction of Maineville where the video was taken, so that correlates with the movement away from the person who did the video and its location when it appeared in Lebanon.
Hello... I am the photographer of this video, and not to sound rude, IT WAS REAL! This sighting had me so shakin, I couldn't keep the camera still (sorry). It was very strange, in fact, I got scared for one fragment of a second. I have never ever seen ANYTHING to this magnatude. There were 15+ people there! We all fell witness to this sighting... I know what we seen, and that was TRUELY remarkable! For me, WE ARE NOT ALONE!
I saw this from another angle that night. I was driving back from Jungle Jims towards West Chester on Union Center road, and saw the lights to the Northwest over Beckett Ridge. As I turned down West Chester road next, and it looked like the lights were not too far away from there. By the time I was on the overpass where West Chester road goes over I-75 the lights were no longer visible.
I saw them on my way home and it was later reported that it was 3 parachuters parchuting into/around a local amusement park. Enh... it makes sense, but it was kind or errie.
i think its real yall i seen the same thing from my job back in feb.08
they are real, they were over mahoning county over 10 years ago. and i saw one when it was still light out hovering next to a radio tower. it was about as big a full sized pickup with 3 lights one at each corner. alot of people saw them. there were people out of their cars in parking lots look at them all over. they next day there were helicopters flying around with no lights on all over the place. you could see their outlines in the lights from the nearby city.
