Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) Field Investigator Tom Wertman filed an official report with the MUFON witness reporting database on March 13, for the ongoing sightings at Euclid, Ohio, according to testimony from the database.
Wertman recounts his experience at the site from two visits on two consecutive days.
Eugene Erlikh, 20, of Euclid, has been watching the same object outside his apartment building now for more than nine days in a row.
Wertman plans another trip to the site this evening, Saturday, March 13. The UFO Examiner will follow along with Wertman by telephone this evening to report on what he finds.
The following is Wertman's unedited account from the MUFON database. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade.
OH, March 12, 2010 - Light/s seen over Lake Erie from Euclid Beach. MUFON Case # 22276.
On Tuesday March 9, Fox 8 News in Cleveland featured a report of an individual observing strange lights from his apartment window for the sixth consecutive night.

The Euclid native reported the lights would start out bright and then gradually dim. As soon as the lights begin to dim, the object moves away.
Since no official MUFON report had been filed, I drove to the area of the sightings on both March 11 and 12.
On March 11 the object was reportedly seen and disappeared before I arrived.
On March 12, I choose a different location which provided a better view and saw a light matching the news report to the Northwest.
The light was orange-white and about the size and intensity of Venus two-fingers above the horizon. The light was seen at least three times between 7:15pm and 7:48pm starting as a bright light, then dimming and in the first observation moving to the Southwest. The light was observed by not only myself but three other individuals. The light or should I say lights were observed by naked eye, video camera, and binoculars. Through binoculars not only was one light seen, but a second the same color and of lower intensity slightly above and to the right. A faint light was also seen fading in and out in the same area until 8:08pm.
There was light air traffic in the area and the two closest airports are Burke Lakefront Airport 10 miles to the Southwest and Cleveland-Hopkins Airport 18 miles to the Southwest.
First thought is it may be an airplane circling over Lake Erie for an approach to Cleveland-Hopkins Airport and the bright light was the landing light.

The sky was partially cloudy and the light could be dimming either by cloud cover or the plane disappearing in the distance. As we watched the light/s the emotions of the group were mixed.
Media is available and is a large file.

Cant someone contact the airforce and have a stand by ready. Once it has been observed they confront or even a local authority. I think it would be money well spent. Anyone second that?
Never mind that. I'm kind of stupid and I have seen ufo's myself and I always get a blurry photo for some reason. Once I even saw bigfoot. I swear1
So this is the best mufon can do? Really? No giant telephoto lens on a tripod or night-vision video? They could rent the equipment. Come on guys! If it's a funding issue, have an emergency pledge drive or something. Hire a helicopter to get closer. I will pitch in and I''m sure others will too. How often to we have a ufo that shows up on cue?
Wrong approach with Telepathic beings
UFOs often do show up on cue a few nights in a row. I have several accounts of it. Almost right to the very minute, same path same course etc. Trouble is, each night you are faced with will they do it again tonight? Follow your senses & go with it.
* These beings can read your very thoughts & feelings? Yes they know your intentions. They sense thought waves, that's how they communicate.
They are Telepathic beings..... what do you expect folks?
That's what telepathic being do! Could it be explained any simpler?
I pretty much knew once too many thoughts keyed on them, plus the intention, it would end the run of sightings.
Try again later with no cameras etc. With no intentions other than seeing them. They'll be there. It's a mind game if you a smart enough & receptive enough to get their messages.
* If they wanted us all to have pictures. Don't you think they would just hover over some city during the day until all our cameras wore out.
Hopefully the correct person will read this message & wake up, stop doubting it. Fact is: These beings are Telepathic by nature. Mind readers, that sense mind waves of thought.
* Anyone wondering why are these beings showing up night after night? * There is someone in that area which is a standout to them mentally. Meaning they have stronger as in exceptional mental mind waves, these beings are sensing them. So they are interested in that person. Perhaps the witness who first clued MUFON, was their intended person of interest. All the attention of everyone was not welcome, nor the cameras or the intentions. These beings were probably trying to relay this to this person without success. Disappointing to them, but they'll be back. It's what they do.
Crazy right! So crazy that last year in 308 days I had 115 sightings, in which over 70 of them were this Orange lit craft. If your thoughts are a standout for them mentally they will come just for you. Mind your intentions though!
shut the f.... up a@#hole. get a life!
You would think a MUFON investigator would have some tools to photograph and film these craft in higher resolution so they could be studied. If they keep coming back, why do we keep getting images that look like they're off mom and pop's video camera?
I'm from Buffalo too and saw a light similar to the ball of light in Euclid Ohio on March 14th at approximately 1:00 am as I was driving home. It was not stationary though. The light came toward me at first and I thought it was a plane going in the wrong direction. It appeared to be level with the tree line from my perspective in the car. This light moved though. As I made my turns, it also turned "with me" as if going in the same directions. I thought it might be a helecopter, but heard no sound. Then it moved out of my line of vision and was gone. It thought it was strange, but was not afraid as I might have expected myself to be. I wondered about UFO, but dismissed it until I saw the article on the sightings in Euclid, Ohio. Now I REALLY wonder what it was.
How about a money bomb for a tripod and a zoom lens?
