A senior news reporter at a Nevada television station reported from the isolated town of Ely on multiple UFO reports, according to a press release from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON).
MUFON's international Director of Public Relations, Mark Easter, made a presentation in Ely recently in search of additional witnesses to recent sightings. Many more people in this region turned out for the event and more reports were collected, according to the release.

The mainstream media has been faulted by American ufolgoists in past decades for not reporting significant UFO sightings, making fun of witness testimony, or badly covering reports. Easter commends this reporting as serious and on-target.

Thank you KOLO News for doing a straight forward ufo report. What makes it unbiased is that real people were allowed to give their opinions. Suggestion: If you have the resources, get an infra-red night vision video camera. Help the people of Nye actually "see" what's really going on in near earth space at night. UFO's abound, solid objects, not just mere lights--you'll see what's behind them. Prove it to your audience, and tell us all, and those reading on UFO Examiner.

I have night vision equipment and the last time I turned it towards the sky I saw more stars than were visible with the unaided eye as well as bats and insects buzzing about - but I admit it's been at least five years since I have done this.....so the next clear night I'll try again.
It seems that the mainstream media are getting to grips with reporting UFO events seriously and not as a joke. Well done to KOLO News for helping lead the way.
