A photo was taken in Colorado along Route 470 at 6:50 p.m. on June 27, where a disc-shaped object appeared in the clouds, according to witness testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.
The photographer reports that the object was not seen at the time the photo was taken, but like many other reports of this kind, the object was not noticed until the image was moved to and viewed on a computer.
The anomaly appears to be disc-shaped with a dark edge to the object.
Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If Colorado MUFON Director Leslie Varnicle investigates and reports back on this case, I will update this page.

CO, June 27, 2009 - Photographing sunsets in a series of pictures; saw nothing until put the pictures on computer
On June 27, 2009, I was photographing with my digital camera, a sunset in a series of approximately seven photos.
I saw nothing with the naked eye until I put the photos on the computer and one photo in the middle showed a strange saucer-like thing in the upper left corner.
We were traveling west on Co. Rt 470 and the object appeared directly to the west and the photo said it was snapped at 6:50 PM on 6/27/09.

I bet this photo was taken from inside the car. its not something in sky. its something on your car glass/windshield.
I think it is obvious from the article that the person was not in a car as they were taking several shots of the sunset.
From the position of the sun the reflection should be on the leading edge of the 'disc' - not the edge away from the light.
Kinda looks like the UFO sighting in Virginia, near Kings Dominion.

This is of course one of our smaller scout craft performing its usual procedure of monitoring its sector of your planet. Way to go David!...Great thinking! It could also be Nibiru in the distance... or Billy Meier on-board taking pictures of earth. I've also seen condoms pop out of the wrapper like that. You just never know.

'Yup. Sun is behind and slightly to the right of the object in question, yet the glare on the object is on its left side. Something's fishy. And the object sure looks like a Frisbee with semi-translucence evenly across the disc but opaque at the thicker edge.
Or maybe it's Vishnu returned in the form of a plastic toy only invisible on digital photos.
This one is on the interesting category, but nothing conclusive like so many. Not bad resolution, whatever it is.
BTW, all you earthlings posing as visitors may be subject to the intergalactic Fraud Act of 5,000,568, 697 for impersonating people other than your planet. Dear witness, thanks for coming forward with the picture no matter what it is, and facing ridicule of the earthlings. That takes courage.
