Bright flash in the sky

Indiana

Feb. 11, 2009 - Brilliant Blue Flash, horizontal to the ground on state road 52 south, Lafayette IN, with the intensity of a camera flash.

Was heading south on Indiana SR 52, having just gone through the stoplight at CR300 and SR 52 intersect, several businesses are located to the east side of parallel with SR 52. When a brilliant blue flash horizontal to the ground appeared right over the road in front of me, lighting up the entire area with the intensity of a welder arc, but a magnitude of of a camera flash -almost plasma like.

The flash lasted about 3 to 4 seconds and looked not unlike a flame often found painted on custom cars, the flame was estimated to be between 75 to a hundred yards in length, with a width of about 25 to 30 yards, it was traveling west to east, its appearance was instant and size was constant.

Weather conditions in the Lafayette IN area were extreme at the time, with high winds from the west, with sustained winds estimated at 25 to 35 mph, with gust up to 60 mph, a severe storm cell was going through with heavy rain blinding at times, but the worst of the storm was to the north of my location, being on the edge of the storm. The flash was estimated to be about 50 to 70 feet in elevation from the ground.

There were multiple vehicles in and about the area heading in both directions on SR 52, with a van and a car directly under the area where the flash occurred. Was not intimidated by the incident, but am concerned by it.

As an avid outdoorsman having spent much time in the field have never seen an anomaly such as this. The object or flash disappeared as rapidly as it appeared.

New Jersey

Feb. 14, 2009 - Brilliant bright turquoise blue flash in a foggy, damp, low visibility sky.

At approx 7:30pm while sitting on my front porch I witnessed the most beautiful color appear in a southern sky. It covered the width of three streets and was roughly rectangular in shape and coverage of the sky. It was a bright turquoise in its center with darker vivid blue and green at its edges and lasted for approx. 2 seconds. There was a plane approaching at the time which veered off to the left of this illuminated area of sky.

I thought I was seeing things, called to my son and waited for a reappearance which did not occur.
I then googled what I had witnessed and found similar stories of recent sightings.
It was truly breathtaking, I hope an explanation can be provided for what I was lucky enough to have witnessed.

I too saw a bright turquoise-esce light illuminate the entire sky while going from Merrillville, IN to Akron, IN on highway 30 eastbound.

It was like lightning it was so bright, but only lasted a second maybe. I saw no source of the light. Stunned initially, I didn't think much of it until I saw another flash about a minute or two later.

Perplexed, it was on my mind all night. It was about 3:00 A.M. and snowing like crazy. I don't recall the exact date, but it was sometime in early January.

Another witness was present, and saw the same thing.

This morning 10/17/2010 I was heading to work at about 4:55 am. The sky was completely clear not a could in sight, no wind, nothing. And as i was heading up 135 N, on the north side of Salem, Indiana. I seen a really bright flash of blue. It looked like lighting but there was no bolt and no thunder. I do not know what this was and thought maybe a transformer blew. Then remembered seeing one blow before and there wasnt any light like that. Before i left my house i shut my cd player off in my car and after seeing the flash of light i went to turn on my car stereo to see if anything had happened on a local station and it didnt work... when i did get it on it was acting very funny. I asked about 20 people i work with and 15 or them all seen the same flash but none reported any weird activities except one said when he seen the light it looked like something in the sky was blocking part of it

I saw this in Murfreesboro (Nashville TN) on I24 East. Out of NO WHERE the sky lit up (caused by a light possibly from the ground) It was a brilliant bright blue, green, and various neon coloured light that lit up the sky for 3-5 seconds. Then went away. No sound, no smoke, no fire...It litterally lit up the sky like lightning...Only We could see where the light came from in a sense...It was like nothing I've ever seen in my life...SO amazing. This was also the week of Feb. 24th 2009

April 27th, 2009 in northwestern New Mexico I saw such a flash also. It lit the entire sky up for a second in a bright white/blue color. My wife captured it on her video and she was 25 miles from me at the time. She caught not only the flash but the object as well. We are waiting to get the copy of it to DVD from the camera system. Anyone interested please email toddthecat@hotmail.com

Wow, now that I know other people have seen this amazing flash of turquoise light I really want to know what it is. My girlfriend and I were on the patio watching the storm at 8:30pm on 9-21-09 when we too saw this beautiful flash of light.

All of the power in our apartment complex went out and immediatley after we heard the power go out we saw the bright flash for two seconds then the power came back on. Weird but extremely beautiful.

My girlfriend and I were astonished cause we have never seen anything so beautiful but un-explainable. Hopefully one day we will know what it was we saw that night. Until that day it will always remain as a beautiful mystery.

Last night my family was on our way home from one of the kids basketball games and saw the same flashing lights appear out of nowhere. We stopped at our neighborhood stop sign and just watched. It pulsed quickly, blue, turned to a brilliant azure blue, pulsed, then extremely bright white, elongated and disappeared. Nothing. Gone. No media reports. I find it very interesting that others have seen the same lights but no news coverage. This happened in Huntsville, Alabama. The date was Tuesday, December 01, 2009.Approximately 8:15 pm.

I was driving home on a rainy night in Prunedale, Ca near the Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Suddenly the whole sky turned a really pretty turquoise color. It lasted for about 3 seconds then it flashed twice, and the sky went back to normal. I thought I was crazy, and seeing things..

    Apparently I'm not alone.

My boyfriend and I have experienced the 3 second bright blue flash that lights up the entire sky in a very unnatural way several times over the last few years. We live in Wahroonga, a suburb of Sydney, Australia, on the edge of the bush and It always happens at night usually when we are walking the dog or just getting home and feels like a giant camera flash which seems to evenly illuminate the entire sky brightly and is definitely not a transformer blowing or a flash of lightening. Its hard to explain the difference but it definitely is not the usual weather based phenomena. We joke about the spaceship thats just scanned us but I'm sure there is some strange atmospheric thing happening that is the cause. My gut and imagination err on the side of not of this world, it is definitely unsettling and creepy so I await the next flash to catch a glimpse of what I always feel is in the corner of my eye that I just miss.

Hello- My fiance and I have experienced the bright turquoise flash, which lasts several seconds, many times in the past year. The first time it happened last year we both jumped out of bed because the light woke us up. We live 11 stories high, so we have a great view of the horizon (we're in NJ by the way). Our jaws dropped. It happened several other times that night and my fiance even called the cops. Numerous other people had also witnessed it and called. The residents of our apartment, which is a high rise, were all out on their balconies saying "Oh my God what is that!" It's happened several times since then. And last night it happened again, only this time the light was a bright orange. My fiance seems to think it's the aurora borealis, which is apparently now being seen much further south than expected. I think it has something to do with the poles shifting, but who knows... I just wish I could get a definite answer. It is NOT lightning and it is NOT a generator. But it IS the most incredible thing we've ever seen and I think we're all lucky who have been able to experience it. When I tell people about it, they don't believe me!

This is a little unsettling due to the magnittude of the flash......we live by palo verder nuclear power point so i was really hoping that didnt explode lol thank god it didnt

Witnessed a blue flash of light horizontal to the ground about a mile to the southeast. Clear night, light seemed approximately 300 feet wide and 200-300 feet high maybe higher. There was a blue aura the higher the light shined. Imagine a camera flash only blue and about 100,000 times more powerful. I jerked back pretty hard. Called the county sheriff department they said they would look into it. Called back an hour later and they verified that the power was out in part of chippewa county and they were working on it. So is the light just a blown transformer that we are seeing and at night it just seems huge? Or is it a ufo and just happened to cause a power outage?

Thats great news for us in New Zealand .Your mad scientist been testing those beautiful blue camera flash
(Hydrogen fusian B--mbs) at 50 kilometer altitudes here off the east coast of NZ. Multiple witnesses and zero publicity. Good to hear they doing it back on your own soil instead of in our south pacific sea.May be they getting ready for a bit of population control before earth runs out of oil.Hope NZ has sucked up to you guys enough so we not included.

Hugh blue flash just went off tonight over the horizon off the east coast of Hawks bay in New Zealand 11 April 2011 2105 hours NZ time. I was lucky to be outside at that time and witnessed it east east south of my location. The flash of intense blue light was like someone pointing a giant blue camera flash from out over the sea over the horizon. It flashed twice with each flash lasting approximately five seconds each. The flash allowed me to see the texture of the grass on hills over 200 meters distant it was so bright.the blue light so powerful it seemed to pulse out from a compact source and fan outwards from that point. It sent a EMP pulse through the entire region causing a small fire on some of the electricity lines in Hastings city which was attended by the fire service. No this isn't a transformer explosion and no this isn't a once every 5 year meteor explosion because we have had these things more than 5 times in the last 6 months.
I know what it looks identical to but no one wants to say out of fear and I don't mean alien space craft either. These are made in the USA and I'm grateful we are your friends and allies- god bless America.
We are all christian down here so we don't mind if you guys test all the toys around us cause we your friends and we know we are safe.

huge "blue" flashing in night sky, Mendocino County, emanates from the ground up, pulsates out, no sound, no lightning, perfectly clear star filled nights, in an area that is sparsely populated - no transformers. Witnessed by many and definitely not lightning. Goes on for hours.

July 18,2011 in Laveen, AZ at approxiamtely 3:00 am. My sister was visiting and we were sitting on the patio catching up on old times. I was facing east, and she was facing west. In the east sky there were three, to four flashes of bright white lights producing an intence deep blue color that covered most of our property. Each flash lasted three to five seconds, and was around 100' - 200' above the ground. Then a circular object appeared filled with intence blue squiggly lines. It disappeared right away. We then heard what seemed to be a loud muffled explosion, also very close by. Looking to the west, my sister was seeing the brilliant intence blue light after each flash, lighting up the sky from north to the south.. Frightened both of us, and we drove around the neighborhood to see if we could find the scource of what we had just witnesses. The neighborhood was eerily quite, and we saw nothing out of the ordinary. Did anyone else witness this event?

I had a similar experience at approximately 7.30 pm on July 20, 2011. A friend of mine, my dad and I were playing basketball when I saw a big bright flash in the sky. I was able to see it head on but it was too bright, I couldn't make out what it was. My dad also caught a glimpse of it and my friend said that he saw the light bounce of my cheek. The strange thing is that this happened in Los Angeles and nobody seems to talk about it. I told my friend of the event that took place and he started laughing kind of ridiculing me. Ironically, he called me at 3.30 in the morning as he was heading home from a friends house. He called me to tell me that he had the exact same experience as I did a big flash in the sky. I quickly noticed that he wasn't messing around with me. What we both saw was no lighting or weather phenomena for sure.

I have finally solved the September 3rd 2010 New Zealand energy release at high altitude sighting.
    It is this link here.
Emu Plains – Atomic Bomb Recordings, Australia
Its called deep crust reflection seismic survey . They practice is used for large scale oil and gas exploration over very large areas many hundreds of kilometers from the nuclear high altitude detonation.
Yes that is what I witnessed and nothing even fits all the parameters need to meet that conclusion unless it was a PNE or peaceful nuclear explosion. Obviously no government will admit that the oil corporations
have that level of technology at its disposal but its really quite logical and obviously important enough for it to be reality. This information will not make any headlines as its just too hot to touch the subject at this time.
Maybe this information will finally be made public in a few hundred years when they have new energy sources and forms of government.
