FL, September 7, 2009 - boomerang shape with single row of lights on underside. MUFON Case # 19125.
A Florida witness looked up on a clear night and saw a "boomerang shape set of lights" moving directly overhead. The silent object was "gliding" in a southern direction. The object was visible for just about five seconds before it disappeared behind trees. The witness said the object had "definite points of lights" on it and that the sighting occurred near MacDill Air Force Base.
MacDill is located within the city limits of Tampa, eight miles south of downtown

MN, September 8, 2009 - Fast moving UFO headed south at about 20,000 - 30,000 FT or greater. MUFON Case # 19130.
A Minnesota witness first thought he was watching an airliner in the night sky, but realized there were no blinking lights. The object appeared to be at about 20,000 to 30,000 feet and traveling 400 to 500 mph, but seemed to increase to the "speed of light or even greater." And "as it increased in speed it left a light trail that looked like it was in the shape of an Arch." The light was a "cobalt blue with a white hue. And as it disappeared it released a very bright light. The light was looked as if you starred at a star for awhile and you saw the light rays."

Comments
I saw a boomerang shaped UFO in the 90's from my roof in NYC. I was using a celestron 4" refractor telescope with a high powered lens (It must have been flying higher than a plane would fly). Silver in color like aircraft aluminum with coin-like indentations on the wings. I don't remember seeing lights. It was moving in the direction of its tip and then rotated 90 degrees and moved straight and repeated this about 4 or 5 times (search pattern like or mapping) until I lost it (the tripod was not locked and I shifted the scope when I was trying to lock it and then could not find the thing again).
I'm not saying it was extraterrestrial but it was exilerating to see it.
