Less than a week later, Gary's enthusiasm for UFO Hunting dampened considerably as he became suddenly seized by the psychological realization of what had just happened to him. He confided in me that he was starting to become a bit unnerved by it all. He said the reality of the phenomenon had just sunk in on him for the first time. In fact, he was about ready to back away entirely from his nightly sky watches. I guess this comes under the heading of the old adage of "be careful of what you ask for ; you might get it." I reminded him somewhat glibly that this was what he signed-up for when he became a MUFON Field Investigator. He then promised me that he would hang in with it for the time being and continue to report to MUFON what he was seeing. I was really afraid that he was on the verge of quitting as a Field Investigator.
Then a few days after this conversation, he spotted from his balcony obversation deck a glowing oval light pacing a Delta passenger plane on its landing approach to Nashville International airport. The UFO was about a quarter of a mile behind the airplane. Gary called the FAA to report this and to ask if there had been any radar reports that confirmed the presence of the unknown object. The man told him that he was going to consider "this a crank call," and then rudely hung-up on him. At this point Gary told me he felt all alone up there on his balcony with this phenomenon. None of the authorities would take him seriously. Even MUFON didn't seem to be willing to come to his aid, at least to give him some badly needed moral support.
By then he had actually gotten quite angry and was wanting to get his findings as widely publicized as possible so that people would be alerted to what seemed to him by now to have developed into a rather alarming situaton. Surely there were some serious security implicatons involved in UFOs following behind airplanes. I told him that I would contact Linda Howe to see if she might want to interview him for her Earth Files website. This would certainly give him some major exposure as her website gets over a million hits a month. And she might also want to interview him on one of her regular special reports on Coast-to-Coast AM radio show that routinely has about four million listeners a night. Gary gave me the go-ahead to do this. To make a long story short, I called Linda and she was very interested in Gary's case. She gave him a call the same day and did a forty-five minute recorded telephone interview with him. She then published a long article about him along with computer illustratons that Gary provided her. This full report was at the top of her Headline News for the day. She then followed up by doing a live special report on Coast-to-Coast radio all about Gary's sightings and frustrating plight to get the authorities to listen to him. You can still read this report along with a POD cast at www.earthfiles.com.

I know exactly how Gary feels. But Not even Linda Howe seemed to take me seriously although she ask to call me in a reply to my email, but she never did. I finally found cseti.org and found out I wasn't alone. Mufon made me feel really bad as I had and still have multiple sightings.
I once wrote to the MUFON and asked about programs that might be involved with (I'm disabled) if I were to join. I never even got the courtesy of an answer. Apparently the MUFON hierarchy really feel that they are something special.
they're surprisingly easy to see, on a daily basis, spheres being the most common,if u want video or photos I have them all. Been studying ufology for over 25 years...all u need is a (video)camera and the time and perserverance and patients to capture these things...90% of the time they use the sun to keep hidden,to watch my video just remove the underscores from the link & copy paste to browser, no joke.
peace.

Join Canadian UFO Study Group, look it up at google, its on the multiply website. On one hand I understand how hard it must be to answer every email and respond to all the nuts and crazies but I agree ufologists do very little but sit at their chairs and pretend to actually follow up on reports.
