Within moments of Queen Latifah's and Carrie Underwood's Super Bowl XLIV performance of 'America the Beautiful' and the 'National Anthem', respectively; Twitter's trending topics list for the United States lit up with the singers names. While diehard fans and other Twitter locations gave the pair kudos, most U.S. tweeters considered their performances a bust.
Both singers are known for stunning performances and many felt the pressure of a Super Bowl opening may have unnerved the two.
