Taylor Swift wins four CMA's.
Taylor Swift swept the 2009 Annual Country Music Awards show with four wins. Twitter was watching and while most rooted for the young, country pop music star, there was also controversy over one of the awards. Swift won awards for "Album of the Year", "Female Vocalist of the Year" , "Music Video of the Year" and was the youngest winner of the "Entertainer of the Year" award.
Taylor Swift is a very popular entertainer on Twitter with over 1,799,000 followers and counting. On her Twitter page she tweeted, "Getting ready for #cmaawards red carpet... Should I wear a sparkly dress?! Okayyyy, I'll wear a sparkly dress......... ;)." She seemed exhuberant to be at the awards show, tweeting, "Getting all pumped up for the CMA's, blasting timbaland 'morning after dark' in the dressing room. PARTY!!"
There was controversy on Twitter over her "Female Vocalist of the Year" award. While many country music fans that use Twitter believed that she was a great entertainer, many believe she hasn't developed her vocal chops yet.
