WWE wrestling star Eddie 'Ugama' Fatu passed away from a heart attack Friday, December 5th. The popular American Samoan wrestler known as the 'Samoen Bulldozer' was remembered on Twitter by wrestling fans and professional wrestlers alike. Celebrity wrestler Matt Hardy tweeted on his page, "I'm gonna miss "Uce"-Eddie "Umaga" Fatu very, very much. He was one of my true friends & an amazing person. May God be with ya-love ya man."
The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) site posted a comment regarding the wrestler's death, "WWE would like to express its deepest condolences to Mr. Fatu’s family, friends and fans on his tragic passing. Mr. Fatu was under contract with WWE at various time periods and most recently performed under the name "Umaga."
According to Wrestling Inc. Fatu's contract was ended this last June, after he failed a WWE 'wellness policy' and refused to go to rehab. Fatu did return to the ring as part of the 'Hulkamania Tour'. The tour just wrapped up it's tour in Australia last weekend.
