Paris Hilton is known for many things; sex scandals, fashion and social faux pas, reality shows with her BFF's and red carpet shenanigans. She is also a prolific business woman and a supporter of World Aids Day on Twitter. Her tweets supporting the cause have inspired other Twitter users to follow suit.

December 1st is World Aids Day and Twitter is supporting the cause by allowing users to turn their tweets red by using the hashtag #red at the end of their tweets. Hilton has taken to adding the hastag to her Celebrity Styler product line tweets, "#red It's an amazing product and a great Christmas gift!"

The @JoinRed Twitter bio reads, "Bringing people and brands together to help fight AIDS in Africa. Join us! Follow(RED)." Hilton  plugged the JoinRed foundation on Twitter by asking her 1 million plus followers to retweet, " JoinRed It’s World AIDS Day. Turn Twitter (RED) - literally! Use #red or #laceupsavelives & turn tweets the color red. ONE COLOR UNITES US. Pls RT."
