Peter Facinelli-signed Converse used to help combat blood disorder

Creator of the much coveted, highly detailed Canvas Warriors handpainted Chucks, Sandira Reddy, has enlisted the help of Peter Facinelli to help raise money for a cause close to her heart, a foundation dedicated to combating the blood disorder, Thalassaemia.

Peter has signed two of her handpainted pairs of Converse, which Sandira is auctioning off on EBay. She will donate 50% of the proceeds to the worthwhile charity.

The bidding for these collectibles ends August 20, so check them out here and here, and place your bid!

From the Thalassaemia International Federation website:

Thalassaemia is the name of a group of genetic inherited disorders of the blood. More specifically, it is a disorder of the haemoglobin molecule inside the red blood cells.

It is an inherited genetic disease, i.e. a disease that is passed from parents to children through the genes. It is not infectious and cannot be passed on from one individual to another by personal or any other contact, through blood transfusion, food or air.
