Which fan are you? Which fan is your daughter? Capitalizing on the fancy of every tween, teen and woman, the second book in the Twilight Saga series, New Moon, will be released in both a Team Edward and a Team Jacob version. As reported earlier, the Team Jacob version was the only official character book cover. The Team Edward version has since been confirmed as well.
Yesterday we showed you the "Team Jacob" version of the movie tie-in for THE TWILIGHT SAGA: New Moon. That version is not for the fall release of the mass-market paperback as we'd previously reported, but for a trade paperback due in-stores on September 15th. The trade version will also include an exclusive fold-out poster!
So what about that mass-market paperback? We've got the REAL cover for that one, which is definitely in the Team Edward realm... This cover will be seen on the mass-market paperback release of the book, which will be available on October 27th.
The Team Edward version is a slightly modified version of the official poster, which is already displayed in movie theaters around the country.
Reports from fans confirm that the New Moon trailer has been shown in select theaters before The Proposal and Transformers.

Edwards in front because they are symbolizing Bella and Edwards seperation in the book using Jacob. And the team Edward and Jacob thing is ignorant. Plus, it is neither Edward nor Jacob's movie. It is Bella's. Every book is hers because it is her story. Please think people and don't just lust.
Also the poster and cover would be more accurate if Bella was looking to Edward and not the camera like she was mentally, physically, and emotionally in the book... just FYI.

I prefer this book cover than the harlequin looking book cover. If people read the books, they will know that it was never Jacob's book...it's a story about how Bella coped without Edward...new moon...the darkest period in her life.

New Moon is all about Edward and Bella! It's how she dealt with the loss of a love so great and everything else is just "filler" until their romantic reunion is Italy.
I never got why anyone would choose Jacob over Edward. He was nothing but a jerk to Bella. He refused to respect her feelings toward Edward. He was a stalker! And he pushed himself on Bella more than once, which is sexual harrassment people! And to the person who said Bella wouldn't exist without Jacob, tell me, how many times did Edward save her too? Let's see I can count at least three times just in the first book! And Jacob... ZERO!

I'm Team Jacob but I still like Edward. But seriously, Jacob andBelaa have a bond that none of you will EVER realize until you have one like it! And Jake and Edward want to keep her safe and everything so why not let Jacob shine for once in the book where he's the star. Where he is the one comforting Bella. But you will never know what was going on in his head, or what any of Jacob could possibly mean in this book until you've had an experience like it. I personally have, so I understand Jacob's angle, I understand what he was thinking. But you really shouldn't judge him like that. He is everything Bella needs despite the fact he knows she loves Edward but he's still going to take every chance he can get to be with the girl that he is in LOVE with! So Team Jacob! And I don't care what you people say!!!

I am FOR THE MOST PART team edward. BUT if you did not read eclipse (where Jacob was being a sexual predator and threatened to kill himself) then I could understand how you could be team jacob. Jacob was very much her super hero in that book whereas edward left because he was being a drama queen. people could interprate that as him being a jerk when he thought he was looking out for bella.

There is no point in pickin teams because It's Bella & Edward all the way. Edward is her only choice we can all see that right through to Breakin Dawn. The reason Bella and Jacob have such a great bond is because of when Bella has Reneesme! Duh!

These comments make me laugh--seriously. Most of the reasons stated for hating Jacob are the very same things that Edward did.
"Jacob is a stalker" Yeah? Umm, didn't Edward do it first--after all, it was Edward CLIMBING INTO HER ROOM AT NIGHT TO WATCH HER SLEEP without her knowing.
"Jacob is immature and manipulative" Ok, again, so is Edward. He doesn't let Bella think for herself, he makes decisions about her without her input, he 'dazzles' her to get his way.
"Jacob is a sexual predator and threatens to kill himself" Umm, isn't suicide the reason they have to GO SAVE EDWARD? Edward tells Bella often that he doesn't want to live in a world without her in it: he will commit suicide. Jake is desperate and in love and scared for Bella so he reacted strongly. He wasn't in danger of raping her in any way so dont try to make it more than it was.
I like the chemistry between Edward/Bella more than Jacob/Bella but that is the only reason.
