Listen to a swoonworthy revamp of Twilight artist Blue Foundation's latest song

As a mom to younger children, we often lose sight of current music as a trade for catch tunes from Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob Squarepants. It’s not until the Twilight soundtrack emerged that many of us redeemed ourselves to seeming semi-current on our musical knowledge.

Blue Foundation, the Danish electronic pop band responsible for Eyes on Fire on the Twilight soundtrack, is offering an exclusive look at their revamped version of Watch You Sleeping, on Entertainment Weekly's website. The song can be found on their current album Life of a Ghost, which also features Eyes on Fire.

You can listen to the stream of the song HERE.

Can't get enough? Blue Foundation is offering another gift to their fans from their related project, Ghost Society. Download the songs Love, Love and Twisted Mind HERE.

Twitter much? BF just set up their Twitter account, and you can follow them HERE.

A bit of background of Blue Foundation, as stated on their MySpace page:

The music can be described as a mix of melodic dreamy pop influenced by indietronica and shoegaze. Tobias Wilner just called it folk music for modern people. Blue Foundation released their first 7” via MoshiMoshi (Hot Chip, Bloc Party etc) and their 1st, self-titled album was released shortly after. During the last years, Blue Foundation have expanded their audience, embracing both the underground and the alternative mainstream. You can find the beautiful and cinematic sound of Blue Foundation in major blockbusters such as “Twilight”, “Miami Vice” and their music also appeared on The OC. Blue Foundation released their 3rd album “Life Of A Ghost” in Scandinavia in 2007.

The song Eyes on Fire conjures up a variety of images for Twilighters, all related to vampire eyes. Here’s the real video, as seen through the eyes of Blue Foundation:

Do you think Blue Foundation has a shot at securing a spot on the New Moon soundtrack, or will a whole new set of musicians be hired to tackle the project?
