A tame alternative to gory vampire games: Twilight the Video Game unveiled

The bare bones website of Twilight the Video Game has been released, giving fans a glimpse of insight as to how the game will appear.

Brandon Gardner, the creator of the video game, says, “We will be hosting some events on November 20th where we will be showing off a playable prototype of the game as well. We also have three musical artists that are providing music for the game. One of the songs will be a flute and piano version of Bella's Lullaby that is performed by internationally recognized concert flutist Donna Wissinger.”

This Twilight-infused game that “allows you to descend into the surreal environment and prepare for exciting adventures that will transport you into a world of survival and forbidden love” is a far cry from some of the vampire video games which have been released in a time when vampires are at the peak of popularity.

Be on the lookout for these vampire video games are your child should avoid playing due to mature content such as: brutal murder, torture, mutilation, nudity, suicide, grotesque images and violent kills:

Blood Rayne game description:The game begins in 1932, in a place where it appears that the people believe in vampires, as all the doors and windows show crosses. It shows a man and woman running down a street. The woman trips, and the man pauses long enough to help her up, only to be dragged into a dark alleyway by a chain. His head is thrown from an alley at the woman's feet, with Rayne walking calmly up to the woman. The woman seemingly breaks down crying, but in fact only hides her face to reveal she is in fact a vampire. After a brief fight, Rayne decapitates her and then takes off before a small army of vampires tries to catch her off guard. She drops a grenade on their position as she leaves.

Last Flight game description: Your character is Larry Adelman, a 38 year old American culinary critic who also writes books about different cuisines around the world. While travelling to Europe, Larry is sitting next to Anna, 30, who is travelling to her home country to bury her father; his corpse is stored in the plane’s cargo area. A strong turbulence jolts the coffin and Anna's father's body is revealed to be a vampire. He begins attacking the passengers propagating vampirism throughout the plane.

Vampire Rain game description: Playground to the stars and home to a growing host of deadly vampires called Nightwalkers. While the paparazzi stalk celebrities, Special Forces expert John Lloyd stalks the Nightwalkers. Play as Lloyd, and lead your specially trained black-ops unit against a supernatural foe who moves with lightning speed and deadly intent.
