Casting information for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse has yet to be announced, as casting for two smaller parts (Leah and Seth Clearwater) has only closed a few days ago, but we know for sure that certain members of the Twilight and The Twilight Saga: New Moon cast will be returning for the third part of the series.
Some Twilight cast members, whose characters are to return in New Moon, were decidedly replaced for New Moon. Solomon Trimble, for example, will not be returning to The Twilight Saga: New Moon as Sam (though "Team Solomon," his Twilight fansite, hope to see him return as, perhaps, another character in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, given his amiable composure and enthusiasm for the series).
In Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer, there are a few important sequences that commence in Jacksonville with Renee, Bella's mother. Renee also makes a comeback in Breaking Dawn (as does her husband Phil Dwyer).
In Twilight, Renee and Phil Dwyer were portrayed by Sarah Clarke and Matt Bushell. Though their parts were fairly short (particularly Bushell's), they certainly were memorable. Clarke was likely cast by Catherine Hardwicke for Twilight due to their relationship and history of working together in Thirteen.
So, since casting for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse was limited (at least in the open casting call) to just Seth and Leah, does this mean that we will likely see Sarah Clarke reprise her role as Renee in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse? What do you think?

Yea, for continuity purposes I think it would be prudent. Atleast for Renee, I dont remember what Phil looked like. I love that Breaking Dawn will be filming almost immediately after Eclipse. BEFORE the actors age, LOL
I hope so! Although their parts were small in Twilight they both fit the roles so well. They are exactly what I picture while reading the books.
I don't see them as necessary for Eclipse...there's so much going on in that story, Renee doesn't seem necessary to move the story along. They're needed for Breaking Dawn...I mean, a girl can't get married without her mom and step-dad there!
In order to keep the integrity of the series I believe it is important for the actors to keep there parts, Eventhough the directors are changing for all the films
this is one of those movies that if the big roles are changed, then everyone gets angry...
sarah needs to play renee again in order for the movies to be authentic...
for some people it is liek a way of life and you dont hold casting calls to change certain people in your life...
as for the solomon guy, in the movie it wasn't established that he was sam uley he just had sam's line from the book. so he dosen't have the need to be in the other movies
plus he couldn't play sam... he would have to age, bulk and grow sooo much, i think chaske spencer is a good choice for sam
They should keep the same actors for continuity purposes, but I really can't see them including Renee in Eclipse as she was only in it for such a brief period. But they definately need Sarah back to reprise her role for Breaking Dawn.
I'm sure they're smart enough to know there'd be a huge outcry if they tried to change any of the original actors.
i hope they don't change Renee and Phil!!!!
They were small but memorable roles in Twilight.
and i actually really want Jake T.Austin (Max from Wizards of Waverly Place) to play Seth. I think he is perfect (physically) for the role and that this could really boost his career :D
