Lana Veenker, who served as casting director for 2008's Twilight, has been a champion at making the public aware of the fact that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn casting call claims are false.
For instance, she was the one who exposed the fact that the film is not yet in production earlier this week.
Recently, too, she appeared on a radio show to illuminate some of the details of supposed casting calls that are actually just money-grabbing schemes. You can hear what she has to say about that in the video below.
In the meantime, Veenker runs a blogsite (here) where she keeps everyone up to date on the goings-on of the casting world in Portland, Oregon.

I find it funny you are trying to dispell the casting rumors when one of your ads on your page is advertising the casting of Breaking Dawn. While I realize you have very little control over the advertising when you use Google ads - it is still a little irresponsible, don't you think? I think that they will cast anybody like Andrew saidhe wants to be Seth Clearwater and if he practices enough i think he has a chance i think they don't mind casting new people. But i have a problem cause i live in Ireland and i want to audition for Maggie but i don't think they are coming to Ireland..!!
Andrew I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you might have trouble being Seth Clearwater. Seth first appears in Eclipse which I'm guessing they've already finished filming for that one. They won't want to change actors probably.
i am a member of talenthunter.com now because of the twilight breaking dawn casting calls. it says that the casting is over for that movie. said it expired jan 31st. i was heartbroken. but now that i see it was a fake i wonder about all the other casting calls on the site. i found lana veenker on facebook and i am asking for the real details to sumbit for being an extra. i would love to play lizzie. the girl who talks to jacob about edwards car while he is looking desperatly to find the girl he is supposed to imprint on. short roll but even to be an extra in the saga would be the chance of a lifetime!
