In this year's (the 8th annual) The Scorecard Review movie awards, The Twilight Saga: New Moon and its cast are nominated for several (okay, many) movie awards.
New Moon is nominated in the categories for "Best Blockbuster," "Best Music," "Best Action Hero" (for both "Jacob Black" and "Edward Cullen"), "Best Ending," "Best Visual Special Effects," and "Best Screenplay (Adapted)."
Robert Pattinson's ending line in New Moon [*spoiler warning*] - "I have just one condition. If you want me to do it, then marry me Bella" - is nominated for "Quote of the Year."
Kristen Stewart is nominated for "Actress of the Year (Multiple Roles)" for her work in New Moon and Adventureland, and Michael Sheen is nominated for "Actor of the Year (Multiple Roles)" for New Moon and The Damned United.
Voting for this awards group is available here, and you should note that instead of having to choose one film over the other in the traditional voting sense, TSR utilizes a ranking system.
UPDATE: As of this afternoon, New Moon and cast have been removed from the nominations list. Here's an official statement as to why:
I run The Scorecard Review … Unfortunately, I had to remove 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' choices. Too many twihards were giving everything Twilight a 10, and every other film a 1, trying to manipulate the results.
I love movies, movie fans and I have no problem with people loving Twilight, but trying to kill other movies is not the point of these awards. It was a difficult choice, as I love the attention the TSR Movie Awards have already received, but here is an example of what was happening ...
In the BEST MUSIC category, Twilight had a 9.3 score. The next highest was Crazy Heart with a 3.8. That was the next highest! In other words, there were hundreds of twihards who decided the best way for Twilight to win was to give the other nominees a 1.
I apologize to all the Twilight fans who took time, and now don't have the opportunity to vote for the film they love.
Here's a side note … Edward was beating Jacob in BEST ACTION HERO/VILLAIN/SUPERHUMAN. It's pretty funny actually. Edward had the most first place and last place votes. But officially, Team Edward was in the lead.

i just visited the site to vote and cannot see new moon on any of the catagorys metioned the only one i get is michael sheen can any one else confirm this by folowing the link and checking for me as if they are nominated its not gonna be fair for new moon, the quote especially was not there or film finish etc kristen stewart was not featured at all
Hahaha, I never read such a stupid thing. Honestly, everybody knows that - like it or not - the Twilight saga is definitely THE blockbuster of the last two years. How could they imagine that other movies would beat them ? What's the point of deleting that freedom of speech and being so unfair ? In this case, you can also delete the cast from any other Awards nominations. I bet the fans will be angry. For sure.
Well then its settled..just go ahead and give Twilight and New Moon the awards because they are obviously the winners by a landslide. lol
Personally I think this is very wrong! Isn't the idea of having a "fan vote" allowing the FANS to vote for who they want? Maybe instead of removing all things Twilight/New Moon, maybe they should change the way people vote. Instead of numbering like that, just let them vote for one thing. I mean come on.....if this is how everyone were to handle situations like this, NO ONE would have the right to do anything. Everything would be picked/voted/chosen for us. So all I gotta say is Scorecard....you are going to have some ANGRY Twihards on your hands, be ready for some backlash!
That is completely unfair to remove the movies because The Twilight Saga is so popular. It's a fan vote. If they didn't want the voting to be done the way it was, maybe they should have thought about implementing voting in a more positive way. Just my thoughts.

As much as I may see where they are coming from. I think it is ridiculous to just remove the movie and cast from the running. They should have changed their system instead - one vote per category. It would be fair and it would still win. Removing it only takes the credibility away from the awards.
Who ever wins, will know they were second place, in essence. What's the point of winning if you aren't up against the best. It's silly really, but hey, it doesn't matter. We all know we would have won anyway *shrugs*.

I am crazy about Twilight and know that they were going to win most of the awards, but not giving other movies a fair vote is NOT GOOD at all. We all know that Twilight is great, and that there are lots, and I mean LOTS, of people who love it. That doesn't give everyone the right to take advantage of the polls and run out all of the competition. It's like stuffing a ballot box at elections, it's cheating, and we have to deal with the fact that there ARE other people out there that like other movies more than Twilight. Now, I do have to say taking it out completely is a bit extreame, I mean they could figure out a way to balance the voting better like having you only vote for one movie or person in a group. But people be serious, if you miss use something it's going to eventually be taken away.

I myself am a Twilight fan, but I wouldn't go round voting New Moon 10 and all the other movies 1. I'm a movie appreciator, and I just happen to be a big fan of Twilight, but that wouldn't mean that I would be spiteful enough to be unfair in the voting. I think it's really bad New Moon has been removed, as it is a good film, and it's not the cast/films fault of the Twilight Fans behaving unfairly. They don't deserve to be removed. If anything you should change the voting system to one vote for each category. It seems pretty un-democratic on both sides of this argument: Removing the film all together - Voting New Moon 10 and all other films 1. If the voting system fails, it's not the film/voters fault, it is the fault of whoever created the system, and it's totally unfair to remove the film alltogether. Change the system and bring New Moon back in.
TSR didn't have a problem using New Moon Picture in their promotions of the awards, now did they? You can't have it both ways! It's a fan based award and if the Twilight fans go all out and vote isn't that what "fan based" means. It's not our fault that Twilight has the most fans.

New Moon has made over $700 million dollars; it's popular; it's soundtrack was a best seller, it had the biggest red carpet movie premier Hollywood in 2009 (bigger than Avatar, Harry Potter, Valentines Day {which was skewed due to Taylor/Twilight fans were present} etc...) and these idiots have the nerve to remove Twilight NM from their awards? A movie that's almost made a billion dollars?! Unbelievable. So, if Star Trek was winning it would be ok? Did the soundtrack for Crazy Heart outsell NM by millions? They clearly are skewing their competition. You know what, New Moon and Twilight fans are too good for this so-called "award". New Moon and its soundtrack sold millions and they cannot stand it. Twilight is a blockbuster. It's fan base is loyal. Just because we vote means this disqualifies us? Ridiculous! A major protest is needed. Shutting down a vote is as un-American as it gets!

You can't UN-NOMINATE a movie, actors and a soundtrack from an award (well you just did). If the public is to vote...and that's exactly what they're doing, this is unfair. It's not TWI-HARD's faults every other movie comes second. It's pure devotion and love for the books/films/music that make the results NOT fraudulent voting.

That is absolutely ridiculous! Yes, NM is the best to me because i love them, and although i have watched many of the other movies there's just one in my opinion that deserves a 10 which is Avatar! And thats my opinion, u asked me to vote and i did. U should have specified u didn't want Twifans! well, this is the first and last time u get my time wasted!

I agree with Twilight being removed from the running. As much as I love Twilight, I think it was wrong of some fans to spoil it for everyone by "rigging" the competition, so to speak. They denied other fans the chance to vote for their favorites & denied Twilight legitimate wins.
I think horrible, the idea of the most unjust world we fans we first voting (finding that the result would be fair and win twilight saga) but now comes this unpleasant surprise ... I'm disappointed and I think a lack of concideração with fans ... . The end of good census ....

I think it's wrong to remove the movie. If you put something out there on the internet and allow anyone to vote - well guess what, something like this might happen. So roll with it and accept it and move on.

It's a shame, but understandable. If I could have voted, I would probably do the same, but you have to realistic and admit that there are other movies and actors that are almost as good as the Twilight saga and the actors.

Disqualifying Twilight is the wrong solution. Not to mention unfair. Why not Think of rules to mitigate the issue. Like disqualifying a vote if it doesnt rank all nominees, or something similar.
But at the end of the day, IT IS A POPULARITY CONTEST. So Deal With It.

This really sucks, I was seriously looking forward to actually voting and now I don't have the chance... I'm bummed. But Good Luck to all the nominee's and I hope the very best for Twilight: New Moon.
On a side note: I don't think removing them as nominee's was a fair decision. This stems from the fact that you have to think of all the hard work and dedication that everyone involved put forth. There for I think that you should just adjust the judging process. I think the decision to remove them all together was very hasty and disrespectful to those involved.

Yeah... I agree with the Anonymous above me. Twihards, take a good look at your comments and how stupid they sound. If a one per catagory were in place, the voting would have been even more unfair, concidering that 95% of the votes came from Twilight fans and a good deal of the people are of the opinion that nothing can be better then Twilight. The fact that people felt they had to justify their enjoyment of a film by it winning awards is just sad. Truth be told, the way the votes were set up was good. They were able to catch the cheating when it occured. The other system would have simply made it so that an arguement couldn't be made about it. Also, this was NOT a popularity contest like someone so said.
