If there's one thing that can be said about The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse star Dakota Fanning, it's that she's a hard-working and talented young lady.
Though she's only fifteen, she's been in countless pictures - pictures which, for the most part, have been noteworthy items of their respective years.
In 2010, two of Fanning's already-filmed movies will be released (The Runaways and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse), and she's signed on to film Betsy And The Emperor early in the year as well.
According to one source, too, Fanning is in negotiations to star as the protagonist, Mia Hill, in Summit Entertainment's If I Stay. The film is - at present - to be directed by Twilight's Catherine Hardwicke who once suggested that she'd like to work with Kristen Stewart again for the role.
If you've ever read the book by Gayle Forman, you'll know that If I Stay is a rather somber-toned account of an extremely unsettling day in the life of Mia Hill as she struggles to choose whether hers is a life worth fighting for. Much like Reese Witherspoon in Just Like Heaven, most of the events in the story are out-of-body experiences, while a great deal of the focus is upon memories past as well.

I would personally rather see Kristen in the starring role. When is Summit going to wake up and give Kristen a starring role in another film? Robert & now Taylor have other projects with Summit. When will Kristen?
I found that Dakota is a exelent actress
I wouldn't use 'Just Like Heaven' as an example for 'If I Stay'. The only thing in common is the out of body experience (if you call it that). Reese's movie was moer of a comedy and If I Stay is the opposite.
Not sure if Dakota Fanning would be my pick for Mia in the movie.
i think i will vomit if i hear she is working with my fave actors again. she needs a break-just to be a normal teen! there are girls out there who would like to be in all of the dramas she has ever been!
