'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' soundtrack - Summit Ent./Altantic
Now that Muse is no longer a potential contributor for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse's soundtrack (the blasphemy of it still stings a bit, eh?), one has to wonder what other groups (or singers) will be considered for a place on the album.
One band that appeared on The Twilight Saga: New Moon's soundtrack, Ok Go, has already expressed an interest in returning for the third film's album.
The group's bassist, Tim Nordwind, talked to Gigwise about the possibility of being asked back.
"The [New Moon] soundtrack was actually really great – a good collection of indie band's from today – and we'd love to be involved again if they'll have us."
On the New Moon album, OK Go was responsible for the song "Shooting the Moon." So, now, the question is: would you like to see OK Go return for the Eclipse album and why or why not?

OK Go is fine... i liked that song. but..... even though Muse's song written for the movie was turned down, i'd like to see Muse on the soundtrack with maybe something they already recorded. Muse was a huge part in S Meyer's writing process and is on every book playlist and every soundtrack so far. Something will feel missing if they are left off.
I'd like to see OK Go on the soundtrack again, they're a good band with good tunes. :)
I am really disappointed about the whole Muse thing though, it's just not right without them!
If Muse isn't on the soundtrack than damn the entire thing. I really couldn't care less who else is on it and can't wait until Muse releases their song independantly.
i'd love to have OkGo on the Eclipse sountrack! they´re awesome
Muse was perfect for this movie... It is sad that they won't sing in the third film... OK Go... Well it is not the best group.
