'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' DVD - Summit Ent.
It has just been announced that Borders will be hosting midnight DVD release parties for The Twilight Saga: New Moon!
Last year, Borders put on Twilight DVD release parties across the country, and special guests such as Edi Gathegi ("Laurent") showed up to greet fans in attendance of some of them.
According to Twilight Source, this year's parties will take place starting March 19th at 10:00 p.m. at select locations. "You’ll be able to participate in their New Moon Movie Awards, among other things! Call your local store to see if they’ll be hosting one."
The New Moon DVD package offered by Borders was just revealed yesterday, and it was announced that, in addition to the typical features to be included on the 2-disc special edition, their product will include the following:
Exclusive packaging that compliments our existing Borders Exclusive Twilight packaging. Exclusive medallion necklace gold side with wolf-pack tattoo, silver side is the Cullen crest on a silver chain. Includes previously unreleased EXTENDED SCENES; INTERVIEWS with cast members Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, The Cullen Family, The Wolf Pack, The Volturi and Director Chris Weitz; unrivaled RED CARPET FOOTAGE from the movie premiere; front row seats to The Twilight Saga: New Moon WEBCAST.

I went to the Twilight DVD release party last year and had a lot of fun. The "parties" are definately for the hard core fans though. If you want to participate in trivia and meet other Twilight fans, go. If people fighting over Team Edward and Team Jacob annoy you, use caution. Other than that, last years party was an enjoyable experience. I definitely recommend it!

I loved this book, just read Eclipse and I am waiting for my Amazon delivery of the fourth and final in the series. Great writer, can't wait to see the movie.

I would go if I didn't have to work. I didn't go to the Twilight party because I was not a fan back then. What I want to know is if the Borders edition, which I already preordered, has extra content that you don't get from other retailers. I just heard about Target's 3-disc edition w/ more content and was thinking about canceling my order from Borders.
I was a "late comer" to the whole Twilight craze so, no I did not attend a release party. Will I attend a New Moon release party .... a distinct possibililty depending on what day/night March 19th is. Going to call my local Borders to see if they are participating. Already have pre-ordered my special three disc Cd from Target and (just like I did with Twilight) will also be preordering from Borders (to go with my Borders Twilight) and may even from Best Buy. Go ahead & say it! "Girl, you so crazy!"

Had fun at the Twilight one last year other than the fact that I didnt attend the one where Edi Gathgegi went to in NYC when I had the chance to switch to it (I went to the 2nd most likely Borders he'd show up at). I'll probably go again.
I'm awaiting the absolute final details of the DVD and Blu-ray deals between the stores but it seems that most likely the best deal to get all the special features will end up exactly like last year -> getting the Target Blu-Ray and the Borders DVD.
I'll also pre-order a regular DVD at Best Buy for a friend of mine so I can get the steelbook case for myself.
i love The Twilight Saga to bits i like how cool the Volturi vampires look with there black cloaks on and how the all have wicked powers i can't wait to watch Eclipse & Breaking Dawn to see how cool bella is going to look when she is a vampire and how cute is wee Renesmee going to look like and she also has her wee power too
i buy two of everything to do with Twilight but just have one Twilight Tattoo!

I Just Loved Watching The Twilight Saga: New Moon i took my two sisters one is a big fan like me and the other one was in to it untill she watch it now she is a fan of Twilight we can't wait for the Dvd to come out!

i went to the Twilight Dvd release party at Hot Topic, it wasnt as much fun as I expected, it was mostly sitting around and waiting for the dvd, and a few minutes in the store to shop, Im so going to the Borders one this time-heard last years was soo fun! :) I need to pre order my DVD ASAp! Im going to do it tomorrow
So going to pre order at Borders, looking forward to the release party, last year the one at Hot Topic was kinda lame!
Nothing good happens in the Midnight releases, i went to target late about 10 Am, and the whole shelf was full. (:
do we know which borders it is being held at? like is it every borders or just a select few?
i am actually putting one together at my work, but its not borders or target... ;) and its going to be SO fun. we have activities planned, prizes, and even a costume contest. call around to all your local retailers and find out what they are planning, if anything and then decided where to go.
