Two major fansites (Twilighters Anonymous and Twilight Lexicon) are sponsoring exciting film events this November in celebration of The Twilight Saga: New Moon's release.
Twilighters Anonymous' event will take place in northern California on November 19th, and it will include a pre-release party starting at 10:30 p.m. PST followed by the midnight film showing. TA's event will take place at Brenden Theaters in Concord, California, and it will include other events, goodie bags, and potential door prizes. For more information on that event, see here.
Twilight Lexicon, on the other hand, is hosting two film release events - one in Utah and the other in Tennessee.
The first will take place on November 21st at South Jordan, Utah, and will include giveaways, door prizes, and more. Note, too, that the giveaway will include an actual set prop from the film. Ticketing information is available here.
The second event will take place in Franklin, Tennessee on November 21st as well. This event will include a goodie bag and door prizes as well and part of the proceeds from the event will go to benefit the Tennessee Walk for Austism. You can find out more information about this event here.
UPDATE: The Twilight Moms are also hosting a fan event. It is a special screening of The Twilight Saga: New Moon in New York City on November 19th at 8:30 p.m. All of the proceeds from the event will go to benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. Please see here for more details.

Major awesome!! I love TA (toolbar included! heehee) but I'm sad no events are being hosted in Dallas, TX!!! Please keep the updates coming as I look to you, Amanda, for 95% of my news! :) I also found a site "Twilight Sorority" that is just that: a sorority for older women (ages 25 and older) and they do charity work and get togethers and such. There are covens for each state and region and you guys (if old enough) should check it out! There's a contest going on who can recruit the most memebers so if you happen to get there through my direction, PLEASE say "lipsofalamb" sent ya!!
