If there is one lesson to be learned from the Twilight series film franchise, it is this: nothing is official until it is confirmed by Summit Entertainment.
With that caveat in mind, one can proceed to look at some of the most recent reports regarding casting for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
Firstly, a couple of days ago, a blogsite reported that Julia Jones beat out Q'orianka Kilcher for the part of Leah Clearwater in Eclipse. You might've seen Jones in Hell Ride and ER. Kilcher, on the other hand, was seen in films like The New World.
Secondly, a new Variety report states that Jodelle Ferland has been cast for a role in Eclipse also - that of "a vampire who has just been turned." Ferland played in Tideland and Silent Hill, and she also appeared alongside Kristen Stewart in The Messengers. The part she is reported to be cast for is yet unknown, but it sounds like it could be any host of newborn vampires - including "Bree."
Any thoughts on these suggestions? Chance are, official reports on the matter will be issued in the near future what with filming beginning in less than two weeks.

I think Jodelle has to be a part of his series of films and but i i also thought she would have been perfect for jane. However i think if she cannot play jane (dakota fanning's character) then she would have to play bree it is the only character left suitable for her.
She would have been good for the role of Jane, don't know who else...
I have nothing against Julia Jones but i think she's too old to play Leah.. I'd prefer Q'orianka Kilcher to play Leah..
The only thing I want to hear from Summit is that they've reconsidered and are hiring Rachelle LeFevre back to complete her performance as Victoria. All appendages are crossed for that miracle!!!!!!!!!! If Summit could do that, I'd take back every bad thought I've had about them lately.
I think she'd be great as Bree. She has to be scary 'cause Bree will be in Bella's nightmares. And that girl has already proven she can be scary or creepy :P)... Add the make up and whatever else!
julia does not look like i a leah, she looks like an old lap dancer or something like that. just check out her twitter or facebook profile and tell me why old miss dirty pictures is so gross! I feel sorry for jacob!
i like julia jones for leah. she's supposed to be older than bella by atleast a year. we have to remember she was sam's high school sweetheart. and she has to look like she permanently has a scorn on her face.
i think julia jones shoul definitaly not be leah she looks like a stripper of sumthin q'ourianka kilcher is way better.
i hope its just a rumor and Q'orianka Kilcher gets the part..
