Though there's nearly a year left before the film's release, and the dirt hasn't even been shifted on production for the film yet, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is already being recognized as a source of 'formidable competition' for 2010's summer film schedule.
A recent Variety article highlighted an up-coming Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Kevin James, Rob Schneider, and David Spade film entitled Grown Ups, which is set for release on June 25, 2010.
In the article, Variety states that "[f]ormidable competition should come with the opening five days later on June 30 of Summit's 'Twilight: The Eclipse.' Paramount's 'The Last Airbender,' from M. Night Shyamalan, follows on July 2."
Apparently, then, Twilight fans aren't the only ones who can predict the future success of the Twilight film saga. Though The Twilight Saga: New Moon has yet to be released, it will undoubtedly reign as one of the most (if not the most) successful of the year.
That said, it is no surprise that a source like Variety would foresee the future of the franchise and note Eclipse as a worthy adversary for summer films such as Grown Ups next summer.
The people from NewMoonMovie.org have already created a new site EclipseMovie.org, which has this fan-made poster (by SsGirlo on DeviantArt) and this fan-made trailer, amongst other things.

that was a pretty hot trailer for being fan made!!
That trailer was not bad but I'm disappointed that they didn't actually use Taylor Lautner to depict Jacob Black.
That trailer has been on youtube for awhile now and Taylor Lautner(I am thinking) was not used because at the time, Summit thought about replacing him. Of course, that was before the fans pulled together and said "no your not" so watch for future ones. I think you will see Taylor more. I love the trailer though. Fanmade. WOW! We all know who she chooses(for people who has read the book).
trailer was amazing , fan made aswell , reading the other comments the guy in it is steven strait hes sort of the height and built of jacob should be at the time and i agree taylor launter is fit . my fiance dnt like it when im drooling over his fit body . yum .

I have seen this trailer before on youtube i liked it its one of few that actually fit lol i have seen alot that had NOTHING to do with the book so its nice to see one that does fit for a change and i see they used the link i gave to get a count down timer NICE!!! glad i could help (^_^)
