'Twilight' by Stephenie Meyer - Hatchette Books
Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series books have officially made history in the best-seller book list department.
USA Today announced that, for the second time in two years, Stephenie Meyer's books were the top four best-sellers for the year.
"No other author — not even J. K. Rowling— has done that in the list's 16-year history."
Each week of the year, USA Today announces the best-selling books for that particular week, and everytime (so far), Stephenie Meyer and her books are on it.
So, it's no surprise that the weeky tallies culminated in a reign at the top of the yearly list. Nevertheless, it's very exciting news!

I completely agree that S.Meyer's books have increased sales of YA novels. I for one had never read a YA novel (while being an adult, of course) and since Twilight I am in a reading frenzy of other great novels in the YA area. It's great to recapture my youth through those young characters. Hat's off to Meyer!
i brought the audio book of twilight becausei can't read very well and i loved it i had to listern to it twice fantastis s.meyers are the best .
Of course, Stephanie I'm your fan. You also have to finish midnignt sun my mother has 65 years an she also read all your books.

I have been reading the four Twilight saga books over and over since purchasing them in July 2009. I am currently on my 17th read through of them and I am still totally enchanted by them. As a 43 year old mother of a teenage daughter I am no YA but these books are excellent and Stephenie is an amazing writer, please finish Midnight Sun so I can have something new to throw in the mix.

I agree with all good comments, have read and reread the books, even the 264 pages Stephenie posted online of Midnight Sun(reading it again right now, wish I could print so that I wouldn't have to read online) - seen and reseen the movies, saw New Moon twice yesterday. Will continue to go till they quit showing it. Then will buy the movie, just an amazing fantasy, you get caught up and don't want to stop. I think it depends on where you are in your life, so not everyone gets so addicted....so much of the books remind me of different times in my life, and it's like reliving it all over again, very enjoyable, Can't wait for Eclipse, in the mean time will just keep re reading the books!!! So if you don't get it - BITE ME!!! lol
Oh I agree with everyone who has made a comment on Stephenie Meyer's Twilight books!!! I am a 46 yr. old mom and have loved everyone of her books!!! Have read them two and three times espically before the movies come out to prepare to see them. Stephenie you have a wonderful gift in writing!!! I am hoping that you will continue to write what ever you feel us fans need in our lives!!!! We will anxiously be waiting to see what you will write next!!! Thank you so much for the Twilight series!!! Kinda sad to see the last book made into a movie, but as the saying goes all good things must come to an end!!! But I believe the best is yet to be.....keep those romance novels a coming!!!!
