Twilight fans may or may not face a bit of a conundrum on February 12, 2010. It is the shared date of release for Remember Me and Valentine's Day.
Remember Me stars Robert Pattinson (Edward in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse), while Valentine's Day stars Taylor Lautner (who plays Jacob in the saga).
Both films were shot with the Twilight actors during their off-time between filming New Moon and Eclipse and will be released on the same day - perhaps reanimating some of the Team Edward versus Team Jacob spirit?
One might care to wager that Kristen Stewart's summer-shot film The Runaways would probably not be slotted for the same release date.
So, if you have to choose (and you just might), which of the two films would you see on February 12, 2010? Does the joint release date hinder your plans to see both at all? Comment below and let us know!

Remember Me for sure...valentine's day looks like another stupid romantic comedy where they just throw a bunch of hollywood people and tell how they spend valentine's day...it has been done gazzillions of times and it's really really boring and moronic...so sad that Tay Tay is in it..and the runaways is going to premiere in sundance so i don't think there s gong to be a wide release of it by that time...maybe for the summer.
Any one who doesn't go see Remember Me is crazy and not just because its RP, because if you weren't a fan now you will be after that movie. Rob put his heart into that movie not just for us, but for this Country. You will see. Its going to make you all cry.
Sorry im not interested in another teen Valentines movie.
it depends on what the trailers took like but patinsons film looks much more ( i cant find a word) lets say better...lautners film is deff a teen flick so idk if i would c that we dont want it to be too high schoolish
"Remember me" of course..
It's Valentine's day for sure for me. I wanted to see it before I even knew Taylor was in it, plus there are more actors that I know it in. Also Taylor is hotter than Robert and everyone knows it. Robert isn't even hot or sexy! Plus, you only really know rob from harry potter 4 and the twilight saga, and you know Taylor from cheaper by the dozen, shark boy and lava girl, and of course the twilight saga.
Remember Me, of course!!
Remember Me of course, I like RP.
im team edward but i'll see both of the films if it will be shown here in the philippines. i am loyal to the stars of twilight saga movies...so...
No conundrum here, I'll go see "Remember Me".
Remember Me! This film, and the story with that cast is going to be superior in every way to VD. Rob!! But don't forget Pierce Brosnan and Chris Cooper.
Taylor's part probably will be only 10 or so minutes. It's a huge ensemble cast that looks thrown together to make a buck with the studio hoping to comp what they did last year on the same week-end with Friday 13th (43 mil)
Of couse if Remember Me gets the R rating, there won't be a choice for the teens.
Remember me looks like a US version of Love Actually... too many characters, not enough actual story. So for me it has to be Remember Me :o)
Remember Me of course! What kind of silly question is that?
Lautner doesn't star in Valentine's Day. He's got a small part, more like a cameo. It's not a good comparison.
That would be Pattinson's...sorry, Lautner..nothing personal...just don't like Jacob is all! :)
For me and for sure, its gonna be Remember Me. I follow every single move of the fimlmaking and for moral reasons i believe that every fans who did the same thing I did, should do it. Besides, im a huge Pattz fan and i think he deserves it.
;D
I love Rob, so, not a tough choice for me, "Remember Me".
Well, don't know when the movies will be released in my country, but since I'm not planning on seeing Valentine Day AT ALL...and I adore Rob's work..you can count me in the Remember Me crowd definitely..and it has nothing to do with Team Jacob/Team Edward...but everything to do with:
1. what the movies are about
2. loving Robert Pattinson the actor, not Edward Cullen the sparkling vampire
I am going to go see 'Remember Me'.
Remember Me for sure as Valentine's Day has tons of different players and TL's part is only a small part of the film. I might see them both once I see the VDay trailer but Remember Me definitely will be first.
If I had to pick one, it would definitely be Remember Me. However, I do plan on seeing both movies opening weekend. The only difference? I will be paying to watch Remember Me multiple times :)
i want to see Remember ME!!!!
i heard the story is great
Remember Me, hands down. I'd pay to see anything Rob is in for two hours..........
First I would see Remember Me becasue I admire Robert's work so much and of course he's so incredibly nice to look at! But Taylor Lautner is a cutie and doing very well too - so I would see his movie after Remember Me - maybe the same weekend. If Kristen's Runaways comes out the same weekend - it will just end up being a nice weekend of movies!
I'm hoping they are playing at the same theater about the same time. I'll drop my daughter and her friends at Valentine's Day and jump into see Remember Me. A perfect day!
Definitely Remember Me. Rob is always #1 :-)
I am a big Taylor fan so I would see Valentines Day first, then Remember me because I still like Rob, I just think Taylor is a really devoted actor and id like to see more of what he can do.
No question "Remember Me".
BOTH!!! hehe :p
ofcourse it eud b remeber me...no question on that one....coz i m a huge fan of rob
I think I will go to a movie theather that is playing both and watch Pattinson first and Lautner second all depends on the movie times. :) I think they are both awesome and my teen age daughter agrees with me! But she likes Lautner and I am a big Pattinson fan!
I won't go see either in the theatres. I usually wait for things to come to DVD. The exception will be New Moon.
Valentine's Day has an amazing cast (besides young Taycob) but I always save romantic comedies and such for DVD rentals. Seeing Rob bigger than life and in technicolor for 2 hours? You bet your sweet patootie I'll be there.
I guess I shall see 2 movies that day love them both.
Gonna watch Valentine's Day first... then Remeber Me the next day. Then watch Valentine's Day again the next day *LOL* The more Taylor/Jacob, the better!
team edward all the way when it comes between robert pattison and taylor lautner it's robert pattison all the way
You can not compare Taylor participation into San Valentine´s day than Robert´s in Remember Me. Taylor shot it in a week he has an small role in avery big cast, while Rob spend two months filming Remember Me and he is the lead in it. I will only watch Remember Me, since it is not only that it has Rob in it but the storyline is very deep and San Valentine movie, I will wait for it to get to DVD since I generally don´t go to the theater to watch romantic comedies
There's no competition here, seriously why would anyone think there is any comparison? Rob IS the lead in Remember Me, he carries the movie, Taylor has only a small cameo in Valentine's Day, if RM does well it's cause of Rob( he IS the star of RM), if Valentine's Day does well it's cause of the all star cast, check the cast list for this movie, Taylor doesn't even have a name there. He's almost an insignificant part of this movie. Once again, no comparison, none at all. This article is pointless.
yea this really is a pointless article made to divide the fans considering taylor will probably be on screen for 10 mins. i honestly don't favor either actor over the other, but i do think rob has more talent.
either way, ill probably see valentines day first simply because it has a billion amazing actors, and then remember me because of rob.
I'm team Robward so I'll have to see Remember Me. But who says you can't see both on the same day?
Well I haven't seen much of Rob on other movies, but it seems to me that Jacob is MUCH better at public speaking, therefore, better actor. Ever notice in an interview neither Rob NOR Kristen can ever get throught a f@#cking sentence without stopping or saying um? I will totally go see Valentine's Day. Bonus: Taylor Swift! She's awesome :)
"Jacob is MUCH better at public speaking, therefore, better actor."
So many things wrong with this sentence... Jacob? ..huh
Public speaking and acting are ~totally~ different.
As to the question of which movie I'd see- not sure I'll see either in the theater. I will probably wait for the DVD's.
I am definitely seeing "Remember me" because it has fantastic cast and a great script. I will wait for Val. Day to come on DVD. It also has an impressive cast that includes almost everyone who is celebrity in Hollywood but after all it's just another romcom.
Remember me...
I've read the script and it is amazing! So excited for it!
And having Rob as the lead star is a bonus. He's such a talented actor.
VDay has been done and done...i'll wait for it on DVD.
Well, my first thought was Valentine's Day is on February 14th, dummy. And then I realized it was a movie, and thought: what the hell is this movie and why does it matter if its released on the same day as Remember Me? So basically, this release date conflict does not hinder me in any way. Remember Me all the way.
I will see Remember me because it has a great cast...Can you say Robert Pattinson and Pierce Brosnan....my two favorite actors
I enjoy/ed The Twilight movies but I don't think I want to see Rob outside of them cause frankly he jus boring to me, I don't think he can carry a movie by himself his past movies have proven that most have gone straight to DVD but we'll see how it does, it won't be liked because of his acting skills but because ladies think he's cute how is that being a better actor??? Taylor is a fairly new actor & Twilight is the biggest thing he's done so far so I only see better things for him
I love how it's posed as if it would be unheard of to see more than one movie in a weekend. People can see both films. I know that's a groundbreaking idea in the world of uber-robssesd fans who feel the need to put down anyone who isn't Robert Pattinson...and journalist wishing to create a real rivalry between two actors that aren't even remotely comparable.
duh people, see both! it's not that difficult!
I will be seeing Remember Me.
I'll be going to see Remember Me.
