For months, The Twilight Saga: New Moon's soundtrack has been available for pre-order through Amazon. Now, the Twilight merchandise hotspot, Hot Topic, is offering an option to pre-order the album through their internet store as well.
The soundtrack, which will include artists such as Thom Yorke, Bon Iver, and many, many others, is to be released on October 13th.
While director Chris Weitz has revealed a handful of the expected artists for the soundtrack, the totality of the compilation's contributors remains a mystery.

I'm sure it will be good, but I can't imagine ordering a CD without hearing one confirmed song on it. Is it just me?!
no its not just you...
i have too hear a song on there before i buy the soundtrack, like i heard Decode way before i started reading "Twilight" and wathced the movie so i instantly bought the soundtrack after i saw the movie. but i'm sure the soundtrack will be good, Muse, Radio Head, and Band of Skulls (checked them out they are preety good) and hopefully Evanescence (ok yes i've said that time and time again i just think they are perfect for the soundtrack)so how cna it not be good, i'll bu t as soon as i hear a coule of songs on there
The twilight soundtrack was excellent!! That will have some fans ordering just for that fact, but not me I need to hear something on it first!!

I am going to buy it asap. Cant help it just for the cover and jewel case insert ha ha....I want to know the songs on it before I see the movie and see how Chris uses the music to enhance the film he made and the acting of the charctors.
Bella and Jacob have some pretty good opportunities to showcase their acting abilities in NM. I have a feeling that Tayor going to come through really well for us play Jacob....I can just feel it...
I already have the soundtrack of New moon and it is totally awesome. i think it is better than twilight.
