After yesterday's first blitz for The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Nurse Jackie star Peter Facinelli to get more followers on Twitter, about 15,000 signed up (in about 12 hours).
At that pace, Facinelli might make his goal, but that goal is lofty.
It all started with a little bet between friends.
Said Facinelli in a tweet, "My friend Rob Defranco bet me I couldn't get 500,000 followers by the end of next week."
Ever since, his followers have been on the case, pumping the information out to all who will listen.
According to Facinelli, he needs to have a total of 500,000 by next Friday. The stakes? Says Facinelli, "If I lose he gets the back of my TWILIGHT actors chair. If I win, he has to dance down Hollywood Blv in a Bikini, singing" . . . ""all the single ladies" while holding a sign that says 'Twitter Me.'"
Should be interesting to see how it pans out for Facinelli throughout the week. He promises that if he wins, he "will videotape Rob for all 500,000 to witness...'ohohohohohohohohohoho.'"
