It's less than two months until The Twilight Saga: New Moon hits worldwide theaters, and the theaters are already prepping for the release.
A blogger at Twifans.com found that AMC Theaters was already placing New Moon promotional items such as these cups (which feature Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner) and Vitamin Water ads in their locations.
Fans had already reported seeing posters for the film in theaters quite a while back, but with theaters selling out tickets like hotcakes this early in advance, it is probably not surprising that they'd also be readying and presenting their promotional materials as well.

That's cool! But I hope they have better ideas once the time minimizes to the actual day of! I guess it's all part of the marketing towards truly selling out those tix. Does this mean being at least a couple of hours early to get in line on 11/19??
I have my 1201 tickets in hand....but we're planning on being on site by 10pm..11pm by the latest..depending on how happy hour goes...so we don't have to sit in the front row. Not that that might be a bad thing necessarily...yummmm...

Oooh I have to get to the theatre and get a New Moon cup. I love that all this marketing is happening already. Everyone is getting fired up for the movie. I have 7PM tickets down here at the Jersey shore but we plan to go during the day first. Don't think I can do Midnight - I'm afraid I'll be too tired to take it all in! Thanks Amanda. see that shows how excited people are for new moon. I'm buying my tickets for the 7pm showing on 11/20 in like 2 weeks, kinda sad that i cant go to the midnight but i have school the next day

I'm just trying to figure out why I haven't seen a preview on TV ANYWHERE! They were showing Twilight commercials already this time last year. And I would ASSUME that they would definitely show during Vampire Diaries since it's the same genre. But, I don't know. I do know that the promotions that they are doing now are working, just wonder why they aren't reaching out to the masses yet.

I had to go to my theater, Fandango was not listing my theater as selling them so I got impatient and showed up last Wednesday night and asked why they weren't selling them yet. The girl looked around her and waved me to the ticket window and said "they showed up today in the computer, technically they are for sale but we arent advertising them til tomorrow"... so I bought FIVE on the spot! Yes.. FIVE, for me, my daughter, my neice and two friends... so if you dont see your theater as selling them on fandango.com go to your theater and demand them! haha, GOOD LUCK~ I cant wait to get my collectible cup... LOL
I have my 12:01am tickets but also brought Twilight tickets as they are playing that before New Moon as a refresh. CAN'T WAIT.
