A read-through of the arduous quarterly earnings call transcript (here) is no longer necessary, thanks to the Yahoo! financial team, who has parsed through these materials and others to pluck out information relevant to The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
According to those findings, new New Moon merchandise will be hitting the shelves of Hot Topic in early October, bolstering otherwise "lackluster" August numbers.
This year, unlike with Twilight merchandising, companies like Nordstrom and various others will also be licensed to produce New Moon products.
Some of Hot Topic's New Moon merchandise has already been made available through their online store and in some stores, and they are already offering a portal to pre-order the New Moon soundtrack as well.
When Twilight sales revenues dropped, the effects were astronomical, and Hot Topic's reliance on coming New Moon merchandise sales was readily apparent.
According to Yahoo!, Hot Topic is remedying projected competition losses by expanding its potential marketability to incoming New Moon merchandise purchasers.
Hot Topic is improving its women's clothing offerings and has kept inventory under control. These efforts should help it maximize the gains from the fresh traffic the "New Moon" merchandise will bring to stores, he said.

they really shold make one in canada
so excited can't wait. i think i got the "New Moon" t-shirt before anyone else in my town like in June or something when they were first released, cause when i went to dinner the night i got it i was wearing it and when i walked in one of the girls at the register was like "Oh my god, where did you get that" and so i told her and everything and then i went to some convinent store and was wearing the shirt and there was 2 guys and 2 girls there paying out and the girls were just like were did you get that and how mucgh and stuff and i told them and they walked off arguing on who was hotter Edward or Jacob, and the guys in front of me were also having a discussion and one was like "You know Bella wasn't that hot in the movies, i mean she's preety and all but still she wasn't that hot." and then the other one was like "Yeah but Jacob was preety hot", so i think that they might've been gay :/
but yeah i got so many comments on my new moon, shirt. my birthday's almost over :(
