Though The Twilight Saga: New Moon's official premiere will take place on November 16th in Los Angeles, California, there will still be, according to a recent confirmation of Twilight Source's report, a fan event in the U.K. for the release of the film.
According to that confirmation, details are still developing, but what is known is that the event will take place on November 11th "with cast" as organized by E1 Entertainment.
As you already know, a similar event is being held in Knoxville, Tennessee with the presence of Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner on November 17th.
Several castmates of New Moon are from the United Kingdom, including Robert Pattinson, Jamie Campbell Bower, and Michael Sheen, so (and this is of course simply speculation) maybe one or more of them will be in attendance!

It's mid-week. As much as I want to go, I have my A Levels to think of and those are my priorities! They would gain so much more publicity if they put it on a Friday night!!

The point of having it on a Wednesday is that they're not working around your personal schedule. Not everyone who will attend this (or have interest in Twilight) are in school. The alternative is that they could have NO fan event and you would be complaining about that.
Im going, i dont care if its a school day, thou im not doing important exams atm, but i can see what the problem is.

Theres no point having it on a wednesday, why not have it on the weekend, they'll be more publicity !!
i dont care im going i aint missing that for anything and i think there going to have it on that day because the stars might have the rest of the year doing something!
