As is common in the Twilight world these days, the past day has held a nice array of news, so here is a run-down of the latest.
First of all, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse director David Slade has been a-tweeting again, and this time he's given two very interesting updates. He tweeted this picture of the "meadow" for Eclipse (which differs quite a bit from the meadows in Twilight and what has been shown of The Twilight Saga: New Moon). Also, Slade gave a warm goodbye to Billy Burke (a "lovely fellow" who plays Charlie Swan in the films), who stated that he "[h]ad, once again, an excellent time creating with these peeps another SAGA installment."
Boo Boo Stewart (Seth Clearwater in the films), too, tweeted that he "finished shooting Eclipse."
Meanwhile over on the New Moon side of things, Fangoria released a new still-frame image from New Moon of Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart. The photo and accompanying text were previews of Fangoria's upcoming issue with Edi Gathegi as Laurent on the cover.
That's not the only set of new New Moon images that came down the pike recently. What with the release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon: The Official Illustrated Companion, there have been dozens making their way around fan circles - and they're all quite lovely. In addition to the pictures, the issue contains a great deal of new insight into filming, including several unknown secrets about production and the film itself.
One secret, however, wasn't revealed in the issue, and it was instead discovered by RP Life. According to them, Cineplex is reporting that the run-time for The Twilight Saga: New Moon is 2:02. This might not come as a surprise to those who remember Chris Weitz's Comic Con interview where he estimated that being the run-time for the film.
Back to the Twitterverse, several New Moon stars have been tweeting about various points of interest. For starters, Alex Meraz tweeted about his New Moon-inspired Halloween costume plans this year. He stated that he was "[g]oing to a costume shop looking for dreadlocks for my Halloween costume. Going as Laurent this year." Meraz also tweeted a video link to himself at the Phoenix, Arizona convention, where he shows off his work with "Grupo Axe Capoeira."
Gil Birmingham, too, tweeted a video of himself at the 11th Annual Native American Music Awards, where he was "jamming with Jimmy Wolf and his band."
Birmingham's music has become a strong point of interest to his fans, and he tweeted that he, indeed, has plans to create a music CD at some point during the end of this year.
Finally, Michael Sheen tweeted about his appearance on the Craig Ferguson show in promotion of his film, The Damned United. Someone was paying attention, too, because the appearance was taped and placed upon YouTube for all to see. As usual, Sheen is full of wit and individual charm - the true makings of a multi-winning "Actor of the Year."
Twilight Lexicon has the details on which Twilight stars are going to be making their way to Australia as well as information about Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene's Halloween Party in Vegas. They also found a fan report from Ring Con, which hosted Edi Gathegi and Christian Serratos, and that is available for viewing here.
Finally, to close with a bit of humor, His Golden Eyes found this video of an EleventySeven song called "Someone's at the Party as Edward Cullen."

That video that Alex tweeted from youtube was my video LOL I posted it and tweeted it, so many people retweeted it with @thealexmeraz that he saw it, and then retweeted again himself. I thought that was so funny! He is so great in person and his talents outside of filming are astranomical! He is great all around. He even role played with me during our photo shoot at the convention. You can see pix of that on www.twifans.com/profile/chauntellechandler
I had no idea that "Eclipse" was so far into shooting, apparently getting close to finishing up. I have been trying to stay away from "Eclipse" news so I would not loose my excitement over "New Moon." I so hope "Breaking Dawn" is not too far behind. I want to see this book on film so badly.
Well apparently a big part of the publicity campaign is to take as many pictures of the guy stars with their shirts off!!!

omg edward is so hot
It is looking like I am liking Mr. Slade as well! His vision of he meadow is always how I envisioned it... TONS of flowers. Though I liked Catherine Harwicke's meadow, it didn't have as many flowers as I pictured.
So far, so good, sir!
Thanks from the update and the video!
