'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' - Summit Ent.
Just yesterday, it was announced that the first trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse would be seen at the theatrical opening of Robert Pattinson's Remember Me (of course, this isn't the only venue through which fans will be able to see the trailer - in fact, more details are expected to be released about other opportunities to view the trailer), and fans are eager to see what the trailer holds.
According to MTV, Kristen Stewart already has a few ideas about what she'd like to see in it.
"There’s a really cool thing that happens on a cliff with Jacob that should definitely be in there . . . Battle stuff. I would say the [newborn vampires]. The newborns are going to look awesome."
Stewart also talked to MTV about one of the more anticipated sequences in the film story, the proposal scene.
"I didn't want to look stupid. I didn't want it to look like kids getting married. You know what I mean?" "I wanted to be, like, 'Oh! Wow! I would say yes too!' You know what I mean? So I don't know how you do that. You try to do it for real, and it felt good. I hope it turned out alright."
Going back to the trailer issue, you might recall that the first teaser from The Twilight Saga: New Moon was issued at the MTV Movie Awards.
After that, we had the "Meet Jacob Black" feature . . .
. . . and then the first, full trailer for the film.
Of course, after that, many TV spots and featurettes were issued, but these were the three that were featured as "trailers," per se.
As you can see from these three, the amount of material presented in the teasers increased as time went on, but there is one big difference between New Moon and Eclipse (as far as trailer releases goes): timing.
When the first teaser for New Moon came out, New Moon had barely completed filming. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, on the other hand, will be near-to-complete altogether - at least, according to David Slade's latest updates about the cutting and adding he's currently doing for Eclipse.
So, while the first New Moon trailer could hardly be expected to include footage seen in the third (well, first "full") trailer (i.e., "the Volturi"), Eclipse can. So, it'll be interesting to see what scenes are cut into the first trailer for the film.
In any case, fans won't be waiting much longer for it - as the week of Remember Me draws nearer by the minute!

I can hardly wait!!!! I'm so excited to see this movie. This movie and Sex and the City 2 are both movies i'm super excited and anxious to see. I would love to see the newborns in the trailer!
i would love to see the proposal scene..I also want to see the break up scene with Jacob at the end of the book, where she definitely decides to stay with Edward and marry him.
I would love to see... some fighting, and werewolves. AND JACOB!!!!!

For me? there were enough Jacob in New Moon.
the the day of the battle with the newborns.... and the kiss w Jacob...(I like Edward but i want to see that scene on the trailer, because i feel so bad about Edward that i want to see it first)...

i cann't wait for the tent & whole parts when jake knew that she's gonna marry edward + their kiss.:)& the fight..can't wait for the movie..

I want to see the tent scene, and the after when Edward forgive's Bella for kissing Jacob. It just made me love Edward more, Jacob not so much!
I would like to see a bit o proposal scene but keep it mysterious, i would also like to see one of the dreams(tiny bit)
but over all i want to see more edward,jacob and bella as the love triangle kinda plays on the edges and save the best for the movie. dont give alot away coz when u watch the trailer u kinda think that u know wht's going to happen and it gives away all the magical feeling.. so dont post too many pics and videos coz it wont be as exciting as it would be to all of it in one piece. love. I SO wanna see the "comprise" scene like the beginning of it at least. Of course I wanna see the Jacob kissing scene! I wanna see the Proposal scene! & Parts of the battle scene!!
I would love to see the whole triangle between Bella, Edward, and Jacob such as Bella actually trying to take Edwards clothes off, the proposal of course, Bella kissing Jacob, and of course how could we forget the sleeping bag scene but also with a little of the cullen family, warewolves, and newborns mixed in with it all. March 12th so can't wait!!!

I know that this is blasphemy for a Twilight Saga fan but I want to see a little bit less of the love triangle in the trailer (and in the movie as a whole)... we get it, Bella is conflicted, Edward and Jacob are both hot. I want to see the newborns, the action, and what makes Slade perfect for this book - the horror. Hope this film sheds a bit of the teen angst and goes for the jugular.

Just bring on the movie... Too many good parts to pick from, although after seeing the leaked pictures the bedroom scene looks quite steamy!

once and for all . Read the books. There is no love Triangle. What there is a thought of settling. The feelings she has for Jacob are a deep and true friendship that hurts her deeply if she feels she is hurting him. PERIOD
SPOILER ALERT she later finds out why the bond was so strong.
WE will get a tease of the triangle.. but more so I know the trailer will hold newborn footage. A glimpse of Riley, a glimpse of Victoria, a flash of Bella at graduation and a hint of Edward and Victoria and a taste of the meadow.... Im probably wrong, but either way, ANY footage will be great. Im curious to see if the wolves look the same. I would think for continuity purposes they would have to be~
and by "triangle" I am referring to the tent scene on the mountain, three people, love/hate/heartbreak etc... but I truly dont think there will be much of that in the trailer.. we are going to meet the newborns in the first trailer, i guarantee it!
