When we discussed whether The Twilight Saga: New Moon star Kristen Stewart would sing in her up-coming film The Runaways (in which she plays Joan Jett opposite co-star Dakota Fanning (who plays Cherie Curie)), many said an emphatic yes.
Well, this week, Kristen Stewart has been spotted coming to and fro a "voice studio" in Los Angeles.
Stewart, who sang alongside Emile Hirsch for the Sean Penn-directed film Into The Wild, has a rather honest and pleasant sound, and she is said to also be rather talented at playing the guitar.
We all remember how well stars like Reese Witherspoon in Walk The Line were able to recapture the sounds of legend, and Stewart is no less capable at that endeavor.
What do you think? Think the trips to the voice studio mean she'll delight us with her own music in The Runaways?

I hope she lives up to all the hype surrounding her vocal talents. She's going to need to be pretty awesome to really sound similar to Joan Jett and The Runaways.

i think she should definetly sing in it. and play the guitar, she would do great abd people wouldnt just now here as "Bella" ( i love twilight thats not meant to be offensive ) she would be taken seriously as a musician and an artist, she should def do it it's be great for her career
Has it occurred to anybody that her musical talent is what RPATZ and her have in common? Maybe just maybe where everybody assumes they are dating.. they are instead GREAT friends with a shared love of music??? I think it's awesome and will now have to watch her other movies! The knotted tshirt is so 1980's, LOL I used to tie mine... (after three kids, that wont happen...) LOL

Yes! Kristin should sing the songs. She'll be a great Joan Jett. I can't imagine more perfect casting. She can sing, she's the right age, she's a fierce actress - this will be amazing.
kristen is good, I saw into the wild last year and she was good. I'm sure her voiceh as developed alot more since then. I love her
