The Twilight Saga: New Moon, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and The Runaways star Kristen Stewart had some big news today.
Her film The Yellow Handkerchief has just been announced as a major part of an exclusive deal for pay cable distribution.
According to the Associated Press, "The deal, to be announced Thursday, will give it exclusive rights to distribute up to 20 movies made by privately held Samuel Goldwyn Films, some nine months after their theatrical release in 2010 and 2011," and The Yellow Handkerchief is one of them.
The news was already announced that Goldwyn Films acquired The Yellow Handkerchief, but this news basically lays the framework for the subsequent distribution of the film.
According to the AP, "Epix CEO Mark Greenberg said the deal helps demonstrate the channel's goal to have a variety of content along with original series, comedy specials and extras such as footage from set visits that are generally saved for special features on DVDs."

This is kind of vague...I look forward to seeing her in whatever venue...Personally, I just buy the DVD's...
So is Yellow Handkerchief not coming out until at least 2010?? Hasn't it been on the back burner for a while already waiting for release? What's holding it up??
I can't wait to watch this movie..esp. that KStew is in it! I luv all the movies KStew is in.
I wish Kristen would talk about this film. This needs to be put out there. The visuals are amazing.
